This Adult only hotel in Costa Mujeres has the finest amenities, like a minibar, beverage dispensers and a balcony or terrace. Check-in Policy - Deposits or credit/debit card hold authorizations are not requested at check-in. "Minimum age of 18 is required for check-in, an ID/Passport will be requested upon arrival.

Hotel Spring Break Policy -
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Latino hotel.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.

6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.

May 13, 2025Fun and relaxing vacation
We had a great time at Riu Latino. The rooms, grounds, restaurants, and bars were impeccably clean. The staff is friendly and fun. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian, but the buffet was also excellent. The salmon at the steak house was wonderful. The bartenders were excellent. The pool bars were lively and fun. We met so many interesting people. After a couple of days, the bartenders have your drinks ready by the time you get to the bar. Pepe's was really good for lunch. The beach was beautiful, but it was a trek to get there with minimal seaweed. There were plenty of chairs with shade at both the beach and pools. We enjoyed the lobby bar for a before dinner drink and after dinner socializing. A couple of nights, there was a saxophone player, who was so talented. We were surprised and impressed with the resort's environmental conscientiousness. They recycle, use absolutely no straws, and the electric goes out (except the A/C) when you leave the room. When you return, you insert your key into a slot just inside, and the electric comes back on. When the balcony door is open, the A/C stops. There was always a refreshing breeze, and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony every evening. If I had to make a recommendation, I would say that the beds and pillows could be more comfortable, but we still slept pretty well. We would definitely go back.

Great Time
Wonderful Resort, great time the Entertaiment team was awesome, Paola, Denna, Juana at the buffet. All the fun games by the pool and on the beach, we had a great time the whole-time there the excursion in a catamaran to Isla Mujeres was great but in our opinion 3 hours on the island not enough, will go back on the ferry the next time to get at least 7 hours there. Oh, yea we will be back. God willing.

Riu reviews May 2025
Great place for young friends to go have a great time and party. Lots of choices for food, drinks and bars. The club was also a great place to meet other people and spend your nights in. The entertainment staff always put on a great show and always interacted with you at the pools during the day. at night they always had a show they were always friendly. (Danna) always talked to us and made us feel like we were a friend she knew forever. Great staff and great hotel would recommend!

Fantastic stay
We stayed for a full week and wished we would have stayed longer. Food was fantastic, our rooms were always impeccable. We would like to give a shout out to Mariana. She was amazing. We stayed in rooms 2142 and 2129. She was impressive. Also the pool bars were handled professionally and with a twist of fun, shout out to Mike and Ceasar. RIU Latina, loved the Adults only, we will be back.

Highly Recommend - Top Quality Riu for Parties and Activities.
My group of 6 friends chose to stay at the Riu Latino for a “boys trip”, and we had a very fun time at the resort! From the parties and shows, to the friendly and funny staff, we had an amazing time filled with lifelong memories. In specific, Danna, a worker at Riu Latino, made our experience that much better from her amiable character, funny stories, and great performances at the resort shows! She quickly became a friend we won’t forget! Food was very good for an all-inclusive, activities were great, and the Pacha club is a great amenity to keep things fun after hours! Highly recommend the resort to those looking to book, and special shoutout to Danna for her hospitality to us!
