Great!!
we came here after we were refused a stay down the street for being under 21. we just came from being on a cruise and just wanted a place to stay for one night before our flight the next afternoon. this hotel let us stay and staff was very friendly and made accommodations to let us stay. free pool, free breakfast and a spacious parking lot. rooms were huge and clean, and had soft bedding. very nice. my only complaint is that there was lots of noise coming from the construction upstairs but other than that is was a great stay.

Not what Marriott is supposed to be about. I had such good expectations.
Now don't get me wrong ..there are some positives but I want to address the issues first. Upon first glance this hotel seems to be a well presented building that boasts an enjoyable pool area/lounge area. The lobby is beautiful as well with nice decor and organized and modern aesthetics. Unfortunately once you reach your room, there is a smell. We had a hard time with the odor and the lovely lady at the desk gave us spray. It helped a little and she did mention changing rooms ...but that all the other rooms had a smell also due to humidity. We actually tried to stay out of the room and even went on nightly walks so we didn't have to smell the room. I hope they figure out their humidity issues with some form of a dehumidifier or however a large hotel such as this goes about those types of issues. Cons: Smelly rooms and hallways due to humidity issues, so they say. It sort of smells like a high school locker room after someone forgets their swim trunks over spring break. The coffee area was nice.. but the coffee was usually cold. They said they would provide a call for breakfast and we never received the call. I went down to get breakfast before the time was over and was treated with rushed urgency to quickly select my breakfast options and get on with my morning. I was given grief for inquiring about a tray to use. I felt like my entire Marriott experience was not up to Marriott standards and poorly represented what this company is supposed to be about. The rooms are extremely outdated and dusty and dark. When you go to Florida, you would think it would be bright and sunny ...not dark and dusty. I wish we could have enjoyed our stay, and I wish we had used our money elsewhere. The lounge area outside did not have any propane so we couldn't even enjoy the outside area fully. The hotel needs major updates and humidity issues addressed. I feel like I threw money into the toilet and flushed it. Pros: location, some staff are friendly, apartment/suite style rooms available with bedrooms, nice pool area.

Nice hotel - good location
We just stayed one night but enjoyed it. Easy to get to from Orlando. Shana at the front desk was super helpful and welcoming! We stayed in the one bedroom suite which was spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy). Would recommend

Nice, convenient hotel for business
Pros: great location convenient to most parts of town via a short drive. Rooms are super spacious and have a large refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop. Closet is a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Room was Clean, and daily housekeeping. Cons: AC units are quite loud when they switch on, it sounded like a jet flying overhead. Coffee wasn’t replenished in the room during my 2 day stay.

Meh
Checked into our room and quickly asked to be moved; lights around the bathroom mirror weren't working, nor was the light over the table near the kitchenette; worst of all was the noisy AC unit. Once we moved to another room, it was quiet and clean. Breakfast is free and fair in terms of quality. The overall property seems worn out; a large portion of the Residence Inn neon sign on the front of the building was burned out, which kinda reflected the overall vibe of the place. There's a Publix grocery store across the street, but it's the grungy Publix in Melbourne. We had a quiet, safe place to sleep but we won't choose this option again when visiting the area.
