    Great location

We booked for the location. The room was 2 queen beds. The bathroom clean but everything is so dated. We wanted to go to the casino and it's connected to the hotel. No free wifi or breakfast here either. No valet and parking is in the nearby garage for $32. Watch out for homeless at night too!!

Could have been a bad night.

I stayed at this hotel while I took my father to see his favorite stand up comedian in Cleveland (We live in Syracuse). The location was good and the hotel looked nice but we had a big problem. Check in was at 4 pm, which isn't unusual, but it is at the later end for hotels. We had reservations at a steak house at 6 pm and the show was at 7:30. We showed up to the hotel at about 3 and had a few drinks at the bar then checked to see if we could sneak in at about 3:30. No luck. No big deal though we just had to kill some time. So we go back at 4 and it still isnt ready. Long story short we couldn't get to our room until after 6 pm and had to cancel our dinner reservations. All while sitting in a lobby with my 70 year old dad and our luggage. We would have walked around but it was about 85 degrees outside and once again, he's 70. The unreliability of this hotel singlehandedly put a damper on our trip.

    Horrible!!!!

If I could’ve given no stars, I would have. Trash in the parking garage, elevators, lobby...and not just a little either. Overall smell of urine in the lobby, elevators and hallways. The room given was not what was reserved, air in room was not working even after having it “fixed,” burns in the carpet, bathroom was so outdated it was laughable, and I don’t think the room had been truly cleaned. Clearly they haven’t had anyone wash the building’s windows in months. We checked in and checked right back out. As they didn’t give us a hard time about a refund, I think they’re used to it by now. This once used to be one of the nicest hotels in Cleveland and it’s sad to see the way it has deteriorated.

    Not Up To Marriott Standards

With the COVID 19 concerns I was shocked on arrival to find the entry turnstile filthy with finger and hand prints, I’m sure the glass hasn’t been cleaned in days if not weeks. Upon entering you could see this hotel is due for a complete makeover. The front desk was gracious and accommodating. The carpets in the hallways are 1960ish and totally worn out. Room just ok with a weird smell and the bathroom is hilarious, it looks like it might have been a closet at one time. My concern is how clean are these rooms during the COVID pandemic. I stay at Marriott properties all over the world probably in excess of a 100 days a year and have never experienced a property this run down. Side note I typically stay at the a Key Tower Marriott however it appears closed during the pandemic.

    Overnight visit

We rented a Room based on 4 star rating and what a MISTAKE! Hotel staff were welcoming and accommodating but rooms were filthy! We called about the first room and they moved us to something better but still not what I would consider CLEAN but it was late and we were tired. Huge disappointment Anf I’m still not sure how they get a four star rating!
