Jul 31, 2025Don't waste your time or money at this property!
The place is for homeless and public use. Don't get room 215 if your brave enough to stay here. There's a topless place across the street. The tub/ shower faucet is broken and when we tried to use it there was hot scalding water, no cold. We couldn't use it. There's 1 sink that did work but the other so was cold water only and it was dripping. The floors were filthy and not been mopped. The a/c wasn't working looks nice but someone came to "fix" it t it wouldn't go below 72 and it was a hot day so we had a miserable night. We complained about the shower but no one came to fix it. We probably won't get a discount or or refund either. By far, the worst place ever!

More like a homeless shelter than a hotel
Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in the USA. Most reviews here have got to be totally fake. Most of the lights in the hallways don't work. Many ceiling tiles are missing, the carpet is torn up and duct taped back together in places. There is a trash can in the middle of the hallway catching actively dripping water (it isn't even raining out). Furniture in public areas is torn up and badly stained. Feels more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. Incredible that it operates under a well known brand.

Don't stay here!
Do yourself a favor, stay anywhere but here! There was a box fan in our room due to the air conditioner not working. In fact very few things actually did. The TV didn't work, the hot tub jets didn't work, they had no towels (because the homeless people come in an steal them!), but worst of all they just don't care. They continually ran out of food at breakfast even when they charge you for it! At checkout they tried to make us pay for our room, even though we used points to book it. Don't bother trying to complain to Sonesta either, they could care less. A bunch of platitudes...they could have given me my points back. I will no longer be booking my company events with this hotel chain. It's too bad as our local hotel by the office is great, but the parent company is awful.

Nasty place
I've never left a place so fast in my life. There are people living there and the doors (at least 5-6 we passed) look like they've been hit with battering rams or broken into. The entire place is filthy and I'm horrible shape. We felt unsafe. Our bed was more like a bowl than board. It was so broken down it should have been replaced a decade ago. We immediately checked out and went to La Quinta near the mall.

Horrifying how can this be 3 stars
Oh my… this hotel needs to be condemned. I stayed here 25 years ago when it was a nice hotel. It is so run down and discusting. We came for a concert and had our boys so we wanted a place with a pool to enjoy. It was green and has garbage floating in it. The box spring was broke on one of the beds and nothing was done about it when we asked. The towels looked like shop rags with stains. They should be ashamed of showing pictures that do not fit this hotel at all what so ever. My kids were mortified and we couldn’t find anything else on a busy night like this one. I told them it builds character. We hopefully can look back and laugh about this experience one day.
