    Stay far away!!

We spent not even 70 minutes in the Sky Motel and it had already been the most scarring hotel experience of my life. The first room we were given was horrid. To put it simply, the air was heavy with what felt like moist mold spores. So dense it hurt to breathe. The bathroom was leaking water from the faucet and shower head and the entire room smelled so badly I can’t even begin to find the words to give the putrid stench justice. We quickly backed out of that room and went back to the front desk to ask for a different room and let the desk attendant know what state it was in. She gave us another room and we felt relief when we opened the door and weren’t immediately hit with a smell. But upon closer inspection we realized the bedding was filled with cigarette burns, crumbs, stains and a variety of body hair. The floor of both the main space and bathroom hadn’t been swept or mopped in who knows how long. There is, what seems to be, an old french fry wedged under a bed, pieces of plastic bag and dirt(I hope) on the bathroom floor and pubic hair and URINE on the toilet seat. To put a cherry on top of this disaster we had to go back to the front desk to ask for toilet paper. TOILET PAPER. The one thing you’d think is a basic amenity in even the lowest rated hotels. I felt as if insects were crawling on every square inch of my body and couldn’t wait to get out of that room. We did not stay. I will NEVER bring my family near that place again. If you’ve ever seen American Horror Story Hotel, you can use your imagination to paint yourself a mental image of what we went through. Save yourself the suffering and take my word for it.... STAY AWAY FROM THE SKY MOTEL.

    Worse place

A friend and I were looking for a good hotel/motel to stay in for two days while in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We thought motel 6 would be great since it has an indoor pool. Boy we were wrong. We get to our room and the room smells of cigarettes. We asked for a smoke free room. The beds were half way made up. Blankets are thin like paper and had burn holes in them. You can even see dead roaches in the blanket. Toilet was dirty and "ran" constantly. Smoke detector missing from room. This motel does not offer complimentary items such as soap, shampoo, coffee maker, iron, etc. They do not honor the pricing on their billboard. It rained on the first night here. Some parts of the ceiling leaked. Only on way to get to the fitness room which is going past the pool. They have a canteen area but the items that sell are overpriced. I do not recommend this place.

Avoid Staying Here if at All Possible!

I stayed at this motel 6 in late October 2018. The whole experience was just awful. Poorly lit parking lot (in itself not a big deal but it adds up) with unsecured entrances that all had people who seemed intoxicated smoking cigarettes in front of every door. Front desk was ok but had a female, not a guest she was just hanging out looking for a ride, cussing and hollering about I am not sure what. The front desk gal did not even look at or address the female hollering at all. This also does seem to be the sort of motel that people live at, not in itself a bad thing but it does bring an increase of theft, poor behavior, and drugs. When I opened the door to my room dozens, literally DOZENS of roaches scurried across the room. I had my dogs and it was late so I had no choice or I would have left. I did not feel safe to sleep in my car. I slept fully clothed with every light on after chasing down and smashing about 30 roaches. There was a plant from outside growing out of the AC/heat register (which did not work at all, would not even turn on). Loud all night, slamming doors, and some one tried to steal my hitch off my SUV-glad I have it locked on securely- they were out banging on it trying to get it off at 1 am. I left after no rest and the front desk (new one) acted surprised when I mentioned roaches. It was obvious she knew darn well the whole place was infested with them. DO NOT STAY HERE. If I can warn at least one person I am glad to do so. There were no recent reviews here when I cam through-if I had known I would have stayed elsewhere. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Upon arrival, it’s very nice, plenty of parking. Savannah at the front desk was great and accommodating. Went to the room, and noticed a few bugs - which they said they just sprayed (you could smell the bug spray) our tv didn’t work, so on way back to room from telling the FD, this man (no form of name tag or uniform) said he worked at the hotel and he was following my fiancé around and saying horrible stuff to him and even told him he was going to knock his head off which I took as a threat and called the police (guy named Mike supposedly is a maintenance worker, was telling us he was the owner) and some other guy came to fix the tv - but tried to fight my dude in the hallway and all of the other guest were coming out their rooms and it was very unprofessional— if he is maintenance, he does not need to be working at the hotel, it’s obviously not for him if he just wants to argue with people. We aren’t from here and don’t know anyone and for someone to threaten us is a pretty big deal. I deserve something for the inconvenience, especially since the tv didn’t work, and bugs and then the heater blew cold air and it’s 20° outside. So overall not very satisfied but it was a place to stay as I’m traveling for business.

    nice chain hotel

Standard Motel 6 chain motel. Nice enough and inexpensive. Room was clean and water got nice and hot. Staff was competent but the air conditioner didn't do a very good job of warming the room. Typical hotel of this chain.
