Convention stay
I stayed at the Marriott Downtown for a convention and I have to give IYONNA a special shut out. Every time we walked the halls her personality brighten up our day and we always laughed/joked about something. Plus she kept the rooms spotless. Elevators were a little slow but the hotel was sold out so it’s expected. Overall great stay!

📍Perfect Spot for Work & Exploring the City
I stayed here for three nights and four days during a business trip to work an event in the city. The hotel’s location is hard to beat — it’s right next to the Philadelphia Convention Center and across the street from Reading Terminal Market. You’re also just a short walk to City Hall, the Masonic Temple, the Hard Rock Cafe, Chinatown, and the historic Gayborhood. There’s a lot to do on foot, and it’s a great area to stay in. We only used a taxi four times: from the airport to the hotel, back to the airport, and to and from Malcolm X Park, where we were working our event. Other than that, we walked everywhere. There are tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Check-in was delayed when I arrived around 11 PM due to an internet issue. We waited a little over an hour, but staff came out with bottled water while they worked on it. Once things were back up, check-in went smoothly. I usually ask for one physical key and then request a digital key through the app. This time, I received a message that I would need to return to the front desk with a photo ID to complete the process. Since it was already after midnight by the time I got into my room, I decided to wait and take care of it the next morning, which worked out fine. I was on the 16th floor with a partial city view. The room was very clean, spacious, and quiet. Housekeeping came daily to refresh towels, make the bed, and empty the trash, which I appreciated after long workdays. If you’re trying to save a little money, there’s a 24-hour 7-Eleven right across the street — super helpful for grabbing water, sodas, and snacks without paying hotel prices or always having to eat out. The AC goes down to 65°F (about 18°C), which was cool enough for me, but if you like your room colder, it might be worth asking the front desk if it can be adjusted lower. There’s also a FedEx location in the lobby — great if you’re attending or working an event and need to ship things in or out. It saved us time and stress. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice, especially if you’re attending something at the Convention Center or just want to be in the middle of everything.

Quick Philly trip with my sisters 💕
We were only in Philly for 24 hours but had the best time! Big shoutout to Isaac for all the fire recommendations around the city. He really hooked us up! Taste Cheesesteak Bar was a 10/10—definitely a highlight of the trip. Everything was good vibes and good eats. We’ll be back soon for sure!

Well maintained large hotel with nice rooms and amenities.
Very large hotel in the center of Philadelphia. It's a huge hotel with 2 banks of elevators. The room was very nice with a comfy bed. One of the better showers. The market makes great sandwiches and has a very eclectic snack variety. The gym was on the mezzanine level. Took a few minutes to locate it. It had plenty of quality machines available. The concierge lounge was on the 23rd floor. It had a very decent spread at breakfast and in the evening. The staff was very attentive. The area around the hotel is okay at best. There are a few restaurants/bars in the immediate area. I didn't park at the hotel on this trip.

Trip to Philadelphia
We liked The pool and the room. The location of the hotel is in the middle of all the action, next to restaurants and the night life. Even though the hotel was fully booked we were able to get everything we needed in a timely fashion. We would recommend the property and will stay there again.
