Go to the in Reno for Cleanliness now.

I travel to Reno every few weeks. And the other hotels that I have stayed in are having VERY big issues with cleanliness, particularly in Hotel Rooms. As a result I went to the Peppermill. you can TELL the entire place is dedicated to keeping everything clean and impecable......rooms affordable.....the best kept secret in Reno right now

    Probably worst stay

I come to Reno and Only stay at the peppermill. I paid to upgrade to a suite for the sunken jet tub and cleanliness of the Tuscany side. First night we called and ordered take out from Cafe Milano. We ordered 2 salads with mixed greens. I clarified the type of lettuce. They said it was okay. Mind most of the salads were made with mixed greens per the menu. I get there after waiting 30 mins and the salads were made with ice berg and romaine. The assistant manager said we don't even have mixed greens. Then we ordered a munchie sampler the server gave my order to the wrong customer and so had to wait another 30 mins for a remake. Back to the room. The refrigerator was not getting cold. Then started leaking water which ruined my salad. I get in the bath I've been waiting to take. The jets would not turn on. I even googled to trouble shoot. I called to advise the front desk of this and that I did not intend on paying for an upgrade with this experience. The girl said she would note it. At check out time I had to tell them again. The lady in the back gave me 1 night upgrade off. I usually don't even pay for upgrades. I am there so often I get them free. I was willing to pay this time but didnt even get what I paid for. I rated it a 2 because I At least won a little money. Just make sure you check your room when you check in.

    Excellent, comfortable bed.

First time visit to this hotel and it in spite of the Covid obstacles we enjoyed our visit. My only criticism was still having a resort fee when no services were available, including the pool for two of our three days. We felt some accommodation should have been offered. Hotel was clean and had a nice gaming area.

    Very nice room

The room was beautiful the service was not so good. We arrived on Sat Sep 13 around 4 pm weren't sure where to park so called to ask they said anywhere on the 3rd floor or above there was a bell hop but offered no assistance when I walked in with my hands full to check in the lady at the desk was extremely nice and fast at checking us in we we went out on the casino floor it was damn near next to impossible to be offered a drink much less find a waitress to order a drink not even an alcoholic drink the casino is soo crappy with pay out you can spend and spend and you almost surely are not gonna win much of anything I spent over 500 dollars with no wins whatsoever not that the money is the reason im giving an honest review I asked for a drink in another area they said I needed to be at a machine and they would send someone over it was shift change another 45 mins hot casino no drink poor service finally back in our suite ordered room service a can of coke 5 dollars wth is gonna pay that keep that soda I don't think so anyways 1 can of pepsi and banana split the banana split was awful melted the banana was very browned it was horrible 11 dollars and a long island 13 dollars 43 dollars for 3 things and for it to be delivered not only do they take out a fee for whatever reason they take out an 18 percent tip and on top of that it took almost 2 hours to even get the stuff delivered to the room we waited and fell asleep waiting for the worst presentation and service ever never will I go thru them again

    Hiding from Covid-19

with this pandemic going on it's a really scary idea just leaving your house if you don't have to but we decided to go for it! We have been reading all of the reviews of the Peppermill that we could get our hands on to see if we would feel comfortable staying there...and boy were we! When you arrive at the hotel/casino there are all sorts of precautions set up to keep you safe from the virus...temperature sensing cameras at the door where if you show 100 degrees or over, they will not let you in! masks available every where although you must have one on when arriving and at all times and hand sanitizer stations were every few feet. Only 4 people in an elevator at a time..restaurants at 50% or less with was delicious and staff were on top of everything! Our room was really nice! very large Spa room with lots of storage and a walk in shower with an actually rubber shower mat! we had great views of the mountains and the city as it was a corner room on 15th floor. Only complaint was that there was no table to put our food on! Had a marvelous time! I was so comfortable there during this crazy time that I would certainly do it again!
