PICTURES SHOWN HAVE TO BE WHEN IT WAS JUST BUILT, THIS PROPERTY IS VERY MUCH IN NEED OF A RENOVATION! TOWEL BAR HANGING - BIKES WERE COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT. - VILLA MAID SERVICE WAS GOOD! NO GARBAGE CANS ANYWERE ON PROPERTY BUT IN THE BAR. GROUNDS WERE NOT MAINTAINED WORTH MENTIONING. THEY ADDED A COUPLE OF MORE FEE'S UPON ARRIVAL $$$ - STORE WAS OK - ADVICE USE THE BAR NEXT TO STORE - THEY'RE FRIENDLY & YOU FEEL WELCOMED UNLIKE HERE WHERE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR INTERRUPTING THEM AS THEY WERE AT THE TABLE vs. BEHIND THE BAR.

Dec 25, 2024Nice resort, STAY AWAY FROM THE POOLSIDE BAR
The resort itself was great. But the inside pool bar was a joke… we were charged full price for happy hour discounts. We were overcharged for a restaurant dinner and show and they cancelled the show. We were told a minimum of 30 had to sign up to receive the show and we were not given the option to cancel. The cost was not posted anywhere and when we asked the manager, he didn’t know the price he had to find out. They also refused to discount the price for not providing the show. When asked about allergy items they were unclear and they charged for the drink anyways. STAY AWAY FROM THE POOLSIDE BAR. Now We LOVED Cabbage Beach Bistro and Marketplace right out side of the resort, great ambience, staff was so fun and friendly this was our go to spot, just no ocean view.

December Stay on Paradise Island
We spent a week at Paradise Island Beach Club the first week of December 2024. Overall, it was a decent trip, but we were unimpressed with the service. The Bahamas have implemented a 15% automatic gratuity which results in poor service across the board at bars and restaurants. The pool bar at the Paradise Island Beach Club was particularly bad as it seemed the bartenders couldn't care less that we were there. We inquired one day if they had a happy hour like the restaurant next door, and they suggested we go there. The air conditioning in our unit didn't work well and would freeze over and stop working if we dropped the temperature below 74. We asked for it to be serviced, and the gentleman who showed up essentially blamed us for trying to drop the temperature too low. We finally just gave up and left the air conditioning at 74 for the whole stay and had some uncomfortable sleeping nights because of it. The ladies at the front desk were great, but the service at the bar left a sour taste in our party's mouths for the week. The beach was beautiful, but the weather was too cold to want to swim in the ocean or the unheated pools at the resort. The Indian restaurant next door was a pleasant surprise. The food was pretty good and so was the service. Overall shocked with how expensive everything was on Paradise Island and Nassau. Taxi Cabs were a minimum of $25 even if you were only going a mile or two. A case of bud light cans was $75 at the liquor store!

Jun 03, 2024Great locaton - large aprt on great beach
Good size of accommodation. Large balcony. Beach fab - plenty of loungers - watch out for the Cruise line people the have found out about the beach access it gets a little busy at periods but not enough too spoil . Great location on beach. Wasn't as clean a could be - long dark hairs on the floor. We booked via booking.com (RedAwnings) and was shown a front line room. We were not given said room and when we asked we were told the place was full. Also they charged us $150 for bar/food which you have to use up. This we found out is only for Owners and we should not have been charged. Wifi is charged at $20 per week. Also a cleaning fee each day - However they did not clean for a couple of days when we stayed then did a really good clean the day before we left ! Very odd. It was hit and miss with who you got at reception - one rude incorrect information giving reception lady and one super helpful lovely lady (Latrcia I think ger name was) shes a credit to the place.

Family trip
The location was excellent right on the beach. The attendants provided beach chairs and set up umbrellas. The property was clean and well-kept good gardens and the pools were kept clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were in good condition and housekeeping did a good job.
