I am currently staying at the Outrigger fort the next several days, and I must say that this hotel is everything I hoped it would be! My room is ocean front, and I could sit on the balcony all day and night and just admire the water, people watch, and listen to the waves. I would highly recommend this place. Staff has been nothing but friendly, and the room is quite comfy. If you plan to et at Dukes while you are here, I'd suggest making a reservation ahead of time. Beautiful hotel!
The Outrigger Waikiki is an amazing place to stay!
I have stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort Hotel and every time the experience has been amazing! The staff is great, the location is perfect and the rooms are outstanding! I]this is the only place I will stay on Oahu…
Fantastic property, right on the beach (unlike some who claim to be but a block away). Rooms are standard fare, but our balcony is what takes this from good to WOW! Duke’s restaurant is not to be missed, a landmark. Book ahead for reservations. Easy valet parking, check in and friendly and professional staff. Clean and COVID Safe!
Great stay at the baech!
With all the choices in Waikiki, WE MADE THE RIGHT ONE! Everything was First Class.... the Valet, Bell Service, Front Desk, Hula Restaurant, and the Beach and Pool Guys! It was such a great place and made better by the Staff.
In the heart of everything Waikiki
87.7% of all reviews rated this property Very good to Excellent. Obviously this resort is doing something right. Was there from May 13-19. Room 1426, "Club Ocean Front". We had a dedicated elevator to our floor, and the rate also included breakfast in the Club Lounge and Happy hour also, featuring 2 hot items. Eating there saved us some $$, as restaurants are quite expensive. (Actually, there is a reasonably priced Cheesecake Factory just 2 doors down from the hotel.) From the Aloha greeting upon check in, to the Mahalo departure, all hotel staff that we encountered were just great! Now, having said all of that I must admit that being on the 14th floor eliminated all of the "noise" and music from below. (we were right above the pool area and Dukes Bar where the music came from.) I honestly can't find anything wrong, except: My buddy and I were there to celebrate our birthdays and we wanted to have dinner at least once at Dukes. We were told that there were no dinner reservations until the end of June. They didn't even make any exceptions for hotel guests, which I find very wrong. We could have eaten at the bar, but there is only a limited menu available there. We were able to have a nice meal at the Hula Grill, upstairs from Dukes. If you are looking for a local watering hole, try the Honolulu Tavern, just 4 blocks from the hotel. Very nice crowd, and compared to hotel bar prices very reasonably priced. In closing, all I can tell you is you get what you pay for and I feel we got everything we paid for, from a VERY clean room, great balcony, 180 degree beach views (including some incredible sunsets and almost daily rainbows), to the Club Lounge meals. I am going back to Hawaii again next year for my birthday and I will be staying here again. Hopefully, I will be able to eat dinner at Dukes next time.
