    too expensive

This was my first stay with Outrigger and I was not pleased with the added charges to my hotel stay. Resort fee's and valet parking if you have the extra money to spend then its for you. The spa was nice I did enjoy the massage, amenities are good.

    Fun in Oahu

great staff and wonderful beach and pool. The front staff always remebers us and we have stayed at the property for over 15 years. It's fantastic to get a meal at the Hula Grill and Dukes. Easy to get in and out of the property and hit the beach for a swim day or night.

Ohana at the Outrigger Waikiki - Best of the Best!

The very best in customer-first care at the Outrigger Waikiki! From the incredible Valet and Bell Team — Nelson, Troy, Rommel, Skip, Jiro, and Geoff (apologies if I missed anyone!) — to the amazing housekeeping team (special thanks to Lauren), and every team member at check-in, Duke’s, and Hula Grill... You all make us feel like your favorite guests every time. Thank you for the true spirit of Aloha!

    Very Disappointed

I am not sure how this property has more than two stars on any site. I was extremely disappointed when I arrived to see the hotel did not appear to have been updated since 1990, and looked very tired. None of the rooms have been updated nor the furniture. I spent the money for an oceanfront room and was irritated when I saw peeling wall paper, a bathroom ceiling in bad disrepair. When I went to the front desk to explain my frustrations, their only response was "I'm sorry to hear that". They didn't offer to move me to another room or ask me if they could make repairs to my room. All I got was a "sorry". When I asked to see another oceanfront room to move to, I walked in and there was an incredibly terrible smell. The first time I walked to the pool, I was led down a path on the side of the hotel that was lined with food deliveries for the day against the fence so clearly was next to the kitchen. Is this really what you want guests to see on vacation? The pool was the smallest I've seen for a hotel this size so yet another disappointment. Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed with this property and will not be back.

Great and personal housekeeping service was a highlight of our stay. Thank you, Brenda.

I wanted to take a minute to thank our housekeeper, Brenda, for our outstanding service and her friendly disposition. Our room was spotless and she was so nice to us whenever our paths crossed. It is good to know there are people like her who not only take great pride in their work, but also in making sure guests feel cared for.
