    Paradise on the Beach

Lovely stay with beautiful accommodations. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed all the amenities and had the most relaxing trip. We had massages at Infinity Spa and they were amazing. We saw a show at the Blue Note too. Had a great meal by the ocean at Hula Grill. It's all at your fingertips at the Outrigger. The hustle and bustle is fun but the second you get in the elevator the serenity begins and the peaceful stay awaits.

    Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort

My recent day was my third time at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach resort and continues to be a wonderful place to vacation. I would specially like to compliment Liqaya, who was our host during this stay. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was the best possible her dedication to guest satisfaction is truly appreciated. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Waikiki.

Another great experience at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach!

My wife and I finished our fourth stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach during the 2nd of week of April and it's always a sad moment handing back our key cards as pretty sure neither of us wanted to leave. We love the closeness to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, we love chilling with a Mai Tai at Duke's at the end of the day, we loved our room (spent a little extra to finally get the ocean front view this time - it was worth it) and finally, love the staff and wonderful vibe we always experience at what has to be one of our favorite hotels : )

    Really great stay

Staying at the Outrigger Waikiki we had a tremendous time. It was very central in Honolulu with easy walking access to many great restaurants, including the inhouse Duke's and the upstairs Grill, the staff were fantastic in helping us have a great time, and getting to swim in the ocean every morning was a blast. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Avoid city view rooms due to excessive noise

I booked this hotel because it was close to where a family member was staying, and I needed a room for just one night in Honolulu before we left for Japan the next day. My hope was to get a good rest before our long international flight. Unfortunately, I had a terrible night due to unending noise, which included street traffic, loud live music at/near the hotel, muffled elevator chimes, early morning garbage trucks backing up and beeping outside, and voices from the next room. The alarm clock in our room came equipped with a white noise feature, which was unable to muffle the sounds unless the volume was turned up so high that it made sleep impossible by itself. I did not sleep the entire night, and I started the next day so stressed that I literally cried. I strongly advise against a "city view" room, which should be renamed a "city noise" room. On top of this, the room and furnishings were worn and dated--but honestly I wouldn't have cared if I'd gotten a good night's sleep. On the positive side, the hotel has a good location in Waikiki, and it was convenient for errands we needed to run before leaving on our trip.
