Day room at Outrigger
Our family used the day room at the resort as we had a late flight and had checked out of our vacation rental. This was perfect for us for our needs. Staff was friendly and efficient during check in and our room was clean and ready. We were able to leave the luggage in the room and enjoy the pool, grounds and the poolside cafe for drinks and lunch. It was convenient to have the room to shower and get ready before heading to the airport. Definitely worth the extra $$ for a room instead of a day bed / cabana.

Meh
Hair on lamp and walls in room bars close too early at 9pm and valet was not available to retrieve my car for my 7am flight out I had to beg staff to call security to retrieve my keys (staff begrudgingly called security who were ultimately helpful) nice pool and location however but wouldn’t necessarily return

Could be lovely, but not worth expense as is
We stayed for three nights (Friday - Monday) and the total per night was $777.22 for a room that did not overlook the ocean (they wanted an additional $100 per night for that) including taxes and the $25 per night self parking fee and $30 per night resort fee (no activities other than morning yoga and a singer in the evening if you ate there were offered while we were at the resort). This could be a great place to stay and you can tell it once was, but they are charging a very high price for a budget place at best. For someone who is disabled, the first thing that stood out was that there were no handicap parking spaces, and any sports close to our building had the lot blocked off completely for the valet area. The website lists that there are multiple dining options, but the one that was on the beach is not operational or open (see photos). On our 2nd day we were gone all day and returned to our room at 5:30PM to see it had not been made up. At 6PM we got a knock asking and it was to clean the room (I do not blame the housekeeping staff, they are clearly short staffed). There is an adult only pool, but you would never know it since there were always kids in it (including some with parents), there were no staff at the pools, so no one to enforce the rules. I am a parent, but was vacationing with just my husband and spent time worrying about kids jumping off of rocks and even the small bridge into a pool that was only 4 feet deep. The pool on the ocean looked lovely, but we never got to enjoy it as we discovered the chairs with umbrellas were reserved and would have cot an additional fee to use, so there was no seating that did not come with an additional expense. The pool area was very nice, but the "free daily pool refreshments" that were included in the resort fee were never seem by us (maybe available only on weekdays). For the expense, I would never suggest this resort to anyone. There are other options in the same price range that you would be better off staying at. If they make improvements, including more pool and housekeeping staff, fix the parking and not charge to self park on top of the high rate already charged as well as open the closed restaurant on the beach (or even make it a bar), it might be worth $500 a night then. The website is not accurate regarding amenities and services, trust the reviews here - I wish that I had!

Avoid at all costs
Terrible hotel The reception area is lovely as you enter then it all goes down hill! Restaurant food is dry, bland & expensive. Barman is rude. Nothing is open past 9pm! The hotel is too far from anywhere and therefore you are in bed by 10pm on your holiday.

Disappointing!
The hotel is very tired, staff very unhelpful and the bar tender extremely rude and unprofessional. Reception staff claim they have nothing to do with the main hotel when you talk them. Everything is closed by 9pm!! No bar, no restaurants and there’s nothing close by as a alternative. When we asked why the answer was ‘island life’. Sorry you’re catering for tourists not an old people’s home!! Parts of the hotel are not even open see attached photos.
