Unforgettable ocean views and great friendly staff
Saleisha and Austin made our stay be unforgettable. Saleisha was able to upgrade us to a beautiful suite and was very understanding when we talked to the front desk. Austin was able to help us move our stuff from room to room. Overall, the resort is beautiful with great ocean views and even giant manta ray viewings. We absolutely recommend this resort if you are planning a vacation in the big island.

5/5 stay, We will be coming back soon!!!
I stayed here for my birthday and 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We had a lovely trip and got the OceanFront View room, and got to see the Manta rays every single night from the comfort of our Balcony. The Balcony was very spacious and so are the rooms. I really enjoyed the food that was provided at the Pool bar and the drinks as well. Thank you for making my birthday and 4 year anniversary amazing!

Beautiful property/views with best morning restaurant staff!
I come here a lot for work. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful and have a peaceful zen to them. The rest of the property is gorgeous being right on the water. Sometimes I get lucky with an ocean view. But my favorite part is in the morning when I go down for breakfast. The ladies who I’ve interacted with at the restaurant make my stay every time I’m here. They always welcome me with a smile and so much kindness. They are friendly and caring. They definitely make me feel welcome and that this is my home away from home. Shout out to Marie, Melissa, Monae, Celeste and Jen, you all make my day! Thank you!!!

Clean and comfortable with a fantastic view!
This was a beautiful property. My only complaint was that the bathtub was in need of some cosmetic repairs. My room had an awesome view, with a high top table and chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The dining room served a delicious buffet breakfast each morning.

Only rated 3 stars because of construction and my outdated room!
This hotel will be beautiful when renovations are complete. The views and grounds as well as pools are fantastic. Same goes for the staff! BUT I got an outdated room (with a stellar view!) and the hotel itself was pretty noisy with construction starting at about 8am. The door and walls allow for a lot of noise to leak through. My biggest complaint though is the bedding/mattress. The first thing I look for at every hotel is a mattress protector (especially because of the added protection against B bugs a cover adds) and bedding cleanliness. The mattress had a old dingy felt like cover laying on top of the mattress with a sheet laying over the top and neither even went to the end of the bed. And the mattress was in poor shape with stains. I hope with the remodel they are investing in better bedding and mattress protection. I was definitely less than impressed. The pool was great. The breakfast was also great! And we were able to check out (free, just have a deposit) some paddle boards to walk to the nearby marina and go for a paddle. The convenience shop on site (NOT owned by the hotel) was ridiculously overpriced. But all in all we enjoyed our time and I see great potential for this property once renovations are complete. Also enjoyed the farmers market on site Wednesdays 9-2pm.
