Great Service at Voyager 47 Outrigger Kona
Tessa and Robyn provided great service while my wife and I went to Voyager 47 Lounge at Outrigger Kona. Thank you Tessa and Robyn for making our time more enjoyable. Outrigger Kona was a great hotel for our stay with a lot of amenities on the property. Having a suite gave us access to Voyager 47 lounge.

Moderately good
Front desk person was nice but not warm like I would expect from an expensive place. However, Stella, who cleaned my room was great! The women at the grab-n-go counter were very nice as were the wait staff and the restaurant. The bar tenders at the poolside bar were very nice as well.

Will be back again
A great resort overlooking the beautiful Keauhou Bay. Do yourself a favour and visit the local manta rays! Tessa and Robyn were amazing hosts in the Voyager 47 lounge. Count yourself as lucky if you get the pleasure of having these lovely ladies look after you!

Costumer service 1/10
I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Outrigger Resort in Kona, and my experience fell significantly short of expectations. Upon arrival, we discovered a wrapper and a used contact lens left behind by a previous guest in our room. It’s not merely the presence of these items that was troubling; we could have easily picked them up ourselves. Rather, it was the fact that we were assured the room had been cleaned on two separate occasions when it evidently had not. This left us feeling concerned that other areas of the hotel room may have also been neglected and unchecked. Moreover, the availability of hot water in our shower was erratic, functioning only about 50% of the time, resulting in an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. To compound matters, the sheets on the bed bore a noticeable stain, and the outdoor area featured a hole in the ceiling that allowed water to leak in. The breakfast service was yet another disappointment. The buffet was lacking, offering low-quality products, and they managed to misplace 3 out of the 4 components of our order, further exacerbating our frustration. It was disheartening to repeatedly request resolutions for these issues, only to find that they persisted throughout our stay. In summary, my experience at the Outrigger Resort was far from satisfactory, and I would not consider returning. I sincerely hope that management takes heed of these concerns to enhance the experience for future guests.

Horrible service for a 4 star hotel based on amenities and services
This place charged for a 4-star, but the services, the rooms, and the amenities felt like 3-star. The carpet was old and not clean, and the bathrooms were tiny. The worst part was the customer service. Our rooms were cleaned only once for a 4-night stay despite requesting them to clean them every day. The sheets were not changed or cleaned because we slept on sandy sheets. Some receptionists (I remember only two names, Jamie and Michael) were rude. The employees were picketing to go on strike for pay raises because every department, such as housekeeping and kitchen, is understaffed, and the employees ended up working more in one shift for less pay. The management should do something about workplace satisfaction because it is reflected in customer service. That being said, the pay raises or new hires should not be directly passed onto the customers'/guests' prices or rates in the form of inflation but rather should also be passed onto the CEO/upper management pay cuts in the form of lesser bonus increases.
