    What an amazing stay!

This was a worry free no issue stay. From the time we arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful. Parking in the garage was a breeze and a short walk to our room. We stayed in the south wing on the sixth floor. We had the perfect Hawaiian view.. the room had been renovated and was a joy to stay in. Walking distance to whalers village and fine dining was perfect. Maui brewing company on site was great to go and listen to music from local artists while enjoying a Maui sunset. Checkout was painless and friendly.

    Perfect place!

We loved our stay at Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Hotel. Property is lovely & low key, the perfect combination. Rooms & beds were so comfy and the hospitality staff was really caring. Slept soundly. Would we return…absolutely!!! Special shout out to May, our room host.

    Serenity now!

My family and I stayed at the KBH for a week right after Thanksgiving. The hotel is located right on the beach, but not on a super busy area, which made it quite peaceful and serene. Our room was well equipped and VERY clean, and we especially enjoyed the balcony where we could see the chickens and the beach, where I would sit out and enjoy my morning coffee and listen to the waves. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and even indulged my typing daughter who fell in love with the soap and shampoo of all things! The bathroom itself had a small shower, but it was big enough to wash off the day, and even had a folding bench which was helpful especially to hang wet bathing suits on. (If the hotel reads this, we have run out of the soap and shampoo and would LOVE to know the brand/type so that I can get more for her birthday) The on-site buffet-style restaurant was perfect for our daily breakfast (my daughter also fell in love with the POG juice), and the additional restaurant great for dinners when we didn't have other plans. Like I mentioned it's not in a super busy area, but within a short walk there are additional resorts, as well as an outdoor shopping map with anything you might need. It's quite convenient, without being intrusive on the serenity of the resort. The kukui nut lei ceremony was a perfect ending to our trip, and really made us feel special. We haven't done a ton of traveling, but if we ever find ourselves back on Maui, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

    Great Location, Very Friendly Staff

We stayed 7 nights here in May 2025. The hotel is very well located on the beachfront and is adjacent to the trail to Black Rock, Whalers Village and nearby properties. We arrived to the hotel about 5 pm and were able to check in right away. When we booked, we upgraded to a Premium Ocean View room, and was disappointed to see that this room was only marginally better than a Partial Ocean View room. The room itself was standard, nothing special. The partial view of the ocean was only so-so, no sunrise or sunset views. The room attendants were very good in their service and providing coffee pods daily. Unfortunately, there were a few small bugs in the bathroom as well as the coffee area (had to take care of a few almost daily). The Outrigger offered a few daily activities, but we did not partake, as we were out and about every day. The parking garage is convenient, but the parking spaces are tight. Very convenient to have the Maui Brewing Company restaurant on site, it fills up quickly, especially during their daily happy hour. All in all, a very good stay, friendly staff throughout.

    Outrigger: Keeping the Culture

Wifey and I enjoyed our 6 night stay very much…we didn’t care for the location and view from our initial room (we got spoiled on Kauai with an oceanfront) so we were assisted by Helene at the front desk. After some doing, she found us a newly renovated oceanfront room that we loved. There was light construction going on down the hall, and the bathroom wasn’t very spacious , but we didn’t mind too much. The entire staff is super friendly. Lounge chairs and hammocks are scattered throughout the immaculate grounds. We enjoyed a ukelele lesson. The Outrigger doesn’t have a “corporate” feel like other big hotels. There’s more of a cultural, spiritual aura instead. The beach was spectacular as were the sunsets and star-filled night skies. (the sunset cruises seem like a waste, we’d just lounge on the shore and get the same view). A pathway leads down the shoreline with access to different hotels, shops and restarants. You’ll have to rent beach chairs, umbrellas, etc..and pay for parking. There’s nightly entertainment at the MBC restaurant, some very good, some meh. We would definitely stay here again. Oh, and whatever you do, ignore the weather forcasts. It was 100% wrong every day.
