Great experience with friends!
I recently stayed at Ocean Blue and Sand in Punta Cana with a group of friends, and we had an absolutely fantastic time. For the price, I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The food had a great variety and tasted pretty good. The hotel offers a lot of amenities, including a casino, several à la carte restaurants, a buffet, shops on the premises, and entertainment. There’s always something to do, making it a great value for what you pay. Of course, what really made the experience exceptional was the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our every wish was fulfilled and every need taken care of. Special recognition goes to Leonardo on the shuttle, Elvin at the Privilege restaurant, Carlos at the Privilege pool, and our butler, Harry, for their outstanding service. Because of my exceptional experience I was eager to return to the Dominican Republic. I searched for singles-friendly hotels online. Instead of helpful suggestions, I kept finding advice about tipping with just a couple of singles. Let me be clear: tipping a dollar or two is simply not enough. The staff at these resorts work incredibly hard to ensure you have a memorable experience, and they deserve more than just a few dollars. If you’re staying in a room with butler service, like we did, they will go out of their way to accommodate your every request for an entire week. Tipping them with one or five dollars at the end of that service is frankly insulting. These staff members deserve to be properly compensated for their dedication and effort—tip them fairly for the exceptional service they provide.

Friendly staff who’s primary focus in on the guests enjoyment. Will return and tell all our friends. We highly recommend
Fabulous resort. Pools are terrific, most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We are staying in priveledge suite with the most welcoming, courteous, attentive and happy to please butler name Wolfgang. He goes above and beyond to enhance our already wonderful first visit to this resort and will be the reason we return in a few months!

Nice Vacation
We just got back from OBS and we had a nice time there. Beautiful weather and hot! This was our first time in DR. Check in was pretty fast The pools are nice and clean. Beach is nice but it’s a bit on the small side We could always get a sun bed at pool/beach and there is a beach bar and swim up bars in the pools. Our room was in block 7 and was very nice & clean. Nice view, just up from pool . AC worked well. Fridge stocked with 2 beer, water and pop. Entertainment is good, we didn’t watch every night though. Buffet was good for breakfast/lunch/dinner We ate at the Italian and it was decent, Mexican was good, Japanese was great, Route 66 is very nice inside but even in the dim light my burger looked so pink inside so I didn’t finish it. Unfortunately we didn’t get the steak house as we were going to book the day before leaving but it was closed. Ice cream parlour on resort too. Mikes Cafe is so nice and love the look inside. The wild life on resort is very nice. Peacock, flamingo, fish, turtles, other birds and there is cats. Be careful with the people trying to sell you time share stuff that are right beside buffet. The day we arrived the man that took us to our room said about a meeting for the morning for 9am regarding resort so we agreed. Next day the guy was waiting outside our building, he took us to the office spot (beside buffet) and someone else came and asked us to fill out papers (our income, jobs, etc) then a next guy came and said he would come with us to discuss more while we eat breakfast together. In this time I said to my boyfriend that I know what this is about and not continuing. So we declined and my boyfriend & left. And they looked disappointed and still a bit pushy. Funny the rest of the week I’d see the guys going with others into buffet for breakfast and to apparently discuss things but I think it’s so they could get a meal to be honest. It looked weird. The vendors that come on resort a few nights are so pushy it’s annoying. I got bit a few times from bugs that looked life flees in the grass, balcony and outside Mikes Cafe. Didn’t leave bite marks though. Maybe saw one mosquito. I would recommend this resort yes. I would return but would definitely like to try other resorts too. We were also non privilege and don’t feel like we missed out on anything.
