Hotel overview
Nestled amidst tropical gardens of shady palm trees, fragrant hibiscus and plumeria, these family-friendly condominiums provide the perfect setting for a relaxing tropical retreat. Fronting one of the island's most beautiful bays, the resort features sparkling swimming pools, shuffleboard and giant checkers and condominium-style accommodations featuring flat-screen televisions, and fully-equipped kitchens with new ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers and a microwave oven.
Visiting Napili Shores Maui by OUTRIGGER is like staying with a best friend. The surroundings embrace you with warmth and hospitality, from the fragrant plumeria blossoms and well tended gardens to the private oceanfront at Napili Bay. You'll be entranced by spectacular views of Molokai and Lanai, and the Humpback whales that entertain offshore from December through April.
Napili's quiet neighborhood is as comfortable as your own backyard. But posh Kapalua Resort is just minutes away if you get the urge to dress for dinner or to challenge your game on championship fairways.

Ok...ish
The place is ok but seems to have seen better years. The reception staff seems rather disengaged and is strictly available from 9 to 5. Calls outside business hours go to some centralized call center and are usually a waste of time. Since all of the rooms are adjacent to the parking lot it is also very noisy (confirmation honk, delivery trucks, trash collection trucks etc.).

Roaches, dated hotel.
This place is a mess. Roaches everywhere. They checked us in and put us into the wrong room right from the start (we booked a king; they put us in a double that was a Murphy bed). So we called down to the front desk and they "had to call us back to check" then 20 minutes later argued it was a queen. Me slow blinking. We went down to the lobby to find that they closed early, yup the lobby closes at 5. There's no one around except a security guard. Then we started seeing the roaches everywhere, bathroom, smooshed in the fridge. They also give you a code for your room, no modern things like keycards for this place. Oh an there are two pools, one is useless because there is this overhyped small restaurant (the gazebo) in it so people stand in large lines in the pool area till it closes.

Everything We Hoped For
This was such a relaxing place to spend the last few days of our vacation! Our oceanfront studio (i275) had stunning views of the sunset, was squeaky clean, the pool was right outside our building, and the kitchen was very well-stocked. The lovely grounds are well maintained. We went snorkeling at the beautiful beaches of Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay (with turtles!) and are so glad we chose this area rather than the high-rises further south. Highly recommended!

Paradise in Maui
This is the best place on Maui. Beautiful, clean rooms with great views and a very complete in-room kitchen. It is a small and homey resort with great, friendly staff. They have five Weber Grills for guest use and they are clean and sparkling, and the views while grilling can't be beat. We have been to this resort 6 times and it is clearly our favorite.

Experience “E Komo Mai”
This was my second visit to Napili, fourth time to Maui. The Outrigger Napili Shores is hard to beat in terms of location and service. The staff is top notch, the restaurants are very good. An added bonus is the rooms are stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, a cooler (even though the chairs have zippered cooling compartments - everything you need for your days on the beach. The restaurants are very good. We went the first week of June and my wife asked what I wanted for Father’s Day which was the following week, and I jokingly said that I wanted to come back. I meant it. I could keep coming back knowing I would get the, “e komo mai” experience like no other.
