    Not worth the money

For the price and location this felt very outdated and unprepared. We went for a wedding and it was the first day of their "open" season. The restaurant, parking, and staff all seemed confused. The valet system is terrible, the rooms outlets didnt work, they put everyone in separate buildings for the wedding, and we had no view. You also couldn't charge things to the room it all had to be paid when you ordered carry out. Everything closes at 9- including the bar. For the money I would not stay again, there was also construction going on that delayed moving of vehicles and driving in general.

    So nasty and so rude

O stars for the disgusting hair filled bed I was forced to sleep in since they wouldn’t switch rooms. Tub was ghetto, unpainted, and dirty. When told, I got sad from the guy at front desk. Just excuse from front desk as to why the room was disgustingly. Also waited for the shuttle for a century after calling for the shuttle 5 times. Never again.

Special shout out to Levi and Brian

We had a great spring break in Telluride - it never disappoints! This was our first time staying at Mountain Lodge Telluride. I wanted to shout out to a few people who made our stay extra pleasant. Brian made great coffee and treated us with a smile each morning! Levi was quick with the shuttle, golden nuggets of advice, and humor! I didn't get everyone's name, but the golf cart drivers saved the day by taking us to and from our room when the road was icy! Everyone was kind and helpful - thanks!

The Villagers Ski Club Visits Telluride

The Villagers Ski Club visited Telluride and stayed at the Mountain Lodge. We had a group of 34 and worked with Sam Barnes and Kaitlyn James to set up everything from various room configurations (which changed several times prior to arrival), bell hop services, a “Welcome Party and Dinner” at their restaurant: The View, upon arrival and of course all or our needs related to skiing (rentals, locker keys, etc). The suites/condo rooms were very accommodating and the kitchen’s had everything necessary to have some meals in. Great air conditioning (heating) and plenty of hot water. The hotel staff was always available for any special requests and even did a house keeping service laundry service mid week (we don’t see this very often!). All-in-all, everything was perfect!! Thanks to all the staff there, especially Sam and Kaitlyn.

    Know Before You Go

Granted this was a last minute trip and we did not do much research but hope this helps someone. First thing that rooms are SUPER small! There was a dresser and shelving that were locked and not useable (assume this was owners lockers) but it occupied A TON of space. So much so that two people could not walk by each other! The property is marketed as Ski In/Out but in reality this is more of a slope access as you had to grab your skis and then walk about 75 yards down a hill and over a bridge to get to the slopes. They will provide you slope slide locks if you dont want to haul them up/down the hill. Another issue, you cannot put any charges on your room! So you have to have a card with you which is super annoying! The front desk wasn't super helpful upon check-in. The property is split and we were in the building across the street. The directions provided lacked enough details to find the room or the ski lockers. Even called the front desk to ask for help locating and was told someone would come right over and never did. On the positive side, there is a shuttle that runs on demand and will run you to the Mountain Village gondola area or the market. The staff that ran that was super friendly. The hot tub(s) and pool were nice and towels were provided right next to them and there was a place to hang your robes.
