Overall Great With Some Quirks
We stayed at this hotel one night in May to attend a college graduation. There were many good points. Our room had the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in within the last 5 years. The pillows, mattress, and even the room temperature were all perfect for a good night's sleep. No noise from the street or other guests. The bathroom was also great with respect to the shower. I did find it odd that were no towel bars in the bathroom - only a small hook on the back of the door. Another quirk of our room was a single small window, much smaller than most hotels. Overall the hotel's decor and the carpeting/wall coverings in the room were quite dark. Low lighting and brown/cream decor contributed to this dark feeling. Overall I think the entire hotel needs an interior decorator's upgrade to brighten the place. If I had stayed here longer, the darkness might have become depressing. For one night, no big deal. The bar downstairs was convenient and the bartender was full of helpful information about the area, including the "Worlds Largest Pancake Breakfast" happening the next morning. This was extremely helpful since there were road closures that affected our planned route to the college for graduation. The front desk staff was also helpful, but did not really provide clear directions on how to get to the nearby Starbucks. Parking in the garage below the hotel was convenient and really the best option even if was an extra charge. Breakfast was not included. Given the price we were paying, this should have been included. Overall, our stay was comfortable.

Fantastic Service & Business Amenities
This property & the staff were way beyond expectation. We were in town for a 3 day business meeting. From check in to check out the service was fantastic and the conference area was super nice. The room was nice and cleaned well every day. Food for the business part was AWESOME (I didn't eat at any of the other options) . I can't recommend this place more for a professional event or a great walkable place to stay while in town.

Sheraton not a hotel- nightclub!
Traveled to Springfield for family celebration not held at the hotel. Hotel turned out to be a night club with loud music playing until midnight!! In addition they had a cheerleading competition with young girls racing around the hotel and yelling until after 10:00 pm. If you are looking for a place to relax and sleep don’t come to Sheraton Springfield!!

Lots of things to do
We had a very nice stay at the Sheraton. The room was good sized and the service was great and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located. They have garage parking underground and within walking distance of the MGM casino, the convention hall, and less than half a mile from the Springfield museums. In the garage, there are two electric vehicle chargers, one of which was broken. There’s also an overhead pedestrian bridge across to Tower place, which has a couple restaurants, a food court and a Dunkin’ Donuts . And a YMCA. The workout gym was also good sized and had a variety of free weights and your standard exercise equipment. The pool has lanes and could be used for lap swimming, but there was a large volleyball tournament in town and most the time it was occupied with kids. We happen to be given a room with a great view of the bridge across the Connecticut river. We also had a handicap bathroom, which worked fine for us, except for the fact that the shower soap and shampoo wasn’t that convenient as it was on the opposite wall from the showerhead. I would also think that for any handicap user they would find it difficult to reach the soap as well, see attached picture. You’d be sitting on the edge of the shower and would have to reach all the way up and behind you to get to the soap. Overall, we had a great stay there for two nights.

NOT THE BEST STAY
Entire stay was ruined because staff didn’t care about the comfort of its guest. There was a college kids team staying all over the hotel and ever since they checked in it was insanely loud. Yelling at the hallway, through the floors, running around, slamming doors, it was a lot ALL DAY LONG. Multiple calls were made to the front desk and the only thing they would say “we know. we taking care of it” and obviously nothing has been taken care of because it kept going on. Entire experience and stay has been ruined by that. Couldn’t rest, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t enjoy the pool because it’s been so loud and filled with kids who don’t know how to behave. Just horrible. I know it’s not hotel fault but this should have been addressed with coaches
