Apr 22, 2025Best Resort Ever
While I'm not professional travel reviewer, I'm pretty well seasoned with around 20 trips to the Caribbean under my belt. My wife and I have been to DR (several times), Mexico (several times in Cancun and once in Akumal), Jamaica, St. Maarten and the Bahamas. Of all the resorts we have been to, this might be the best. The grounds of the resort are the most beautiful I've ever seen and the staff are amazing. The layout is very long (about 3/4 mile from main lobby to beach) but there are 10 or 12 passenger golf carts running one end to the other constantly. There is a group of rooms near the lobby end (I think those are called garden view) and then there are "beach side" suites which are on the end near the main pool and beach. I highly recommend the ones on the beach side as that is where we spent most of our time and it was easy to get to the lobby at night for dinner. The other choice is whether you want to book "Level". That lets you access an extra restaurant, a couple of bars with higher end liquor (one of which is a rooftop bar overlooking the ocean) and free massages at the spa. The Level also includes a butler or concierge. A lot of resorts I've been to that had butlers they were essentially useless but the ones here are incredible. They are all over the resort, and you will see them in the lobby, by the pool, in the restaurants, everywhere. They are genuinely friendly, remember you, and go out of their way to make you feel special. I have to give a huge shout out to Eddie, Juan and Daniel in particular. These guys made us feel like celebrities as well as getting us extra perks at dinner (complimentary filet mignon brought out that was legitimately the best steak I've ever had at a resort), arranging a beautiful honeymoon scene in the room with rose petals, champagne and a special cake, and constantly checking in with us about anything we needed. As I said before, my wife and I have been to many different resorts of different price classes etc , but this may have been the best trip we have ever taken. We will absolutely be back again and I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you want to go to a place that looks like paradise and be treated like somebody special, come here for sure.

Amazing experience at Melia punta cana beach resort (Adults Only)
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Special shout out to these people (Patrick, Wilfred Barrini, Robert, Thomas, Elianna ) and many more who made our stay in Melia (Adults only) a remarkable one. Not forgetting the entertainment crew (Jeffrey and the two ladies) who were dancing throughout the day and made sure we felt entertained.

Great place
Beautiful place for an adult resort only. Restaurant A la Carte were all very good. Ronny took good care of us during all our trip. We were staying in front of the lobby and room were clean and comfortable. Overall good experience with nothing bad to say about that resort.

Perfect Honeymoon at Meliá Punta Cana – Thank You, Daniel!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Meliá Punta Cana, and it was everything we hoped for. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for couples. The pools were clean and relaxing, the restaurants offered a great variety of delicious food, and the nightly shows were fun and well put together. We also really appreciated how comfortable the beds were after long days of enjoying the resort. A special thank you to Daniel, our concierge with The Level. He made our stay even more special—checking in with us regularly, handling all our dinner reservations, and even going out of his way to buy batteries for my camera when I couldn’t find any. That kind of attention and care made all the difference. We felt truly taken care of, and we’ll always remember this trip. Highly recommend Meliá Punta Cana, especially with The Level service!
