    Awesome Spring Break Experience

    I went to this Melia in Nassau with my grade on our spring break and we had awesome service from bartender Monique. She was electric! She made our stay enjoyable and she livened up the beach for us. She was so helpful and even danced away the day with us one time. This was definitely a memorable trip to the Bahamas. Many thanks!

    Great vacation huge disappointing bill 2 months later

    We had a great stay in January with our two kids we met another family that we remain in touch with today and plan to travel with again. Resort was beautiful service was exceptional. As with other all inclusive a they have their little rules like no kids in certain pools which was a touch annoying as we were tracking with kids but there were enough other places to hang out that it wasn’t an issue. The children’s club was not for us as we are not fans of leaving out kids with complete strangers in a foreign country. It would have been nice if they had a way for us to participate in fun craft events or activities with them on site but we were told parents are not allowed. Would gladly give this vacation a five star but I lee received a charge of over $2000 on our account two months later. The vacation was paid for in full before we ever arrived. When we left we were not told of any issues nor did anyone alert us that there was any problem. I’m now being charged a second time for this trip. We disputed with our credit card and have reached out numerous times to try and get answers to why we are being charged and have received no response we were not able to get in touch by phone with the resort due to the corona virus. Won’t be visiting another Melia resort again or recommending it.

    Natasha was amazing

    My boyfriend and I went to our friends wedding in November 2019. Natasha was our waitress in the Market place all 3 days we were there . She is amazing!!! She was so personable, attentive , and such a breath of fresh air even on the rainy days. Her smile was so inviting and by day 3 I would only sit in her section . The Melia was a great hotel, we had so much fun but Natasha made it so much more better. 5 out of 5 stars for us.

    Great Stay - Double Charged

    Our vacation was a 5 out 5 in early Feb. Location was clean, staff was friendly, food was great, and the drinks were flowing. The nightly programs were fantastic, as was the super bowl party. The Level was totally worth it. We booked our trip through and paid in full in November. There were no issues at checkout when we left. Then we see on this month's credit card statement that we were charged again for the room stay. NO ONE has answered my calls at the hotel, and when I call to select any options on their phone directory, I am immediately disconnected. We are disputing the charge with our Credit Card company, and reporting this as fraud. Writing here that maybe someone will reach out to help resolve this issue, because the phone system doesn't work. Its a shame, because we had a great time, but if we are to be double charged, we will not return to or recommend this property.

    Hotel unilaterally cancelled reservation from their end and won't provide a refund

    TL;DR: they cancelled my reservation but kept my money. We had a trip planned for late April. The hotel unilaterally cancelled the reservation from their side without any previous or further notice. It was not until I contacted them regarding this cancellation that THEY did, that they offered some conditions that won't work for me (changing it to a new date). So I asked for a refund since they were basically not going to give the service I had paid for. Well, it looks like now they not only decided one-sidedly that I should travel in some other date (which I can't), but also that they are going to keep my money. Again, and I can't stress this enough, money that I paid for a reservation that does not exist anymore since they cancelled it. What's even more funny is their argument for not doing the refund was that the reservation was non-refundable. So, I guess that when they offered "non-refundable stays" they probably wanted to say "Surprise! Stays that might or might not be in the dates you originally booked (that if you're lucky enough and they don't cancel it)". Maybe I'm planning vacations wrong, right? Who wouldn't like the hotel to decide when you should go and visit then even though you had booked some specific dates?
