We stayed for 9 nights. The team members are very friendly and accommodating! They really bent over backwards to make us feel at home. The COVID regs were followed. We had food and drinks from the bar and restaurant. All yummy! The pool is nice but no hot tub.
Staff - Not Covid Compliant
We have been Marriott members since 1982 and stayed at this hotel often due to family living in the neighborhood. This stay was October 8 - 11. The individual that checked us in was wearing a mask below his nose and lifted it when talking to us. Whenever we were in the lobby this was his action. By the third day we talked to him and his reaction was to say "you can talk to anyone at the front desk!!!" and disappeared for a few minutes, then returning with the mask properly fit. I assume this did not last long because on the last day he was still wearing it below his nose. Our concern: if management is letting this happen what else are they overlooking? (Other front desk staff were following Marriott covid rules.) On receiving an evaluation form following our stay we shared this info and quickly received the standard so-sorry, appreciate the info reply. We love Marriott and seldom have complaints but are disappointed in the front desk person's behavior and the company's response.
Home Away From Home
I stay here several times a year and rooms and service are consistently excellent. As Marriott Titanium, I've gotten used to the M Lounge and the perks that go wit status and these guys have done a great job of keeping it going. While they don't have a buffet in the M Lounge, I can still get coffee before 5AM and they have pretty good packaged food available when I need something to eat. Bottom line, this is a great Marriott property.
Loved it, my new Tulsa hotel. Staff was great and easy to deal with during the day. Young lady who checked us in was excellent. We got 4 rooms and they were exactly what we had reserved. Usually stay at two different competitors but made the switch to marriot and extremely happy in Tulsa.
My wife and I have come to this hotel many times for a weekend in Tulsa. They have done some recent remodeling on the rooms. Ours was pretty nice. The beds are super comfortable with great pillows. The shower is really nice and had a lot of pressure. The heater worked great and you can keep the fan on high at night for white noise. Check in was quick and painless. Nice large TV in the room including cable, HBO, Netflix, etc. Lots of elevators so one is always available. We had a fairly quiet stay and didn’t notice any noise. Our room had a coffee maker and a refrigerator. This is a nice hotel and conference center, and it is in a fairly nice area. It is certainly not brand new, but is pretty well maintained. There are all types of restaurants nearby from McDonalds (within a mile) or other restaurants like Zio’s, Olive Garden and Red Lobster about 2-4 miles away. A Walgreens is just down the street. River Spirit casino is close by as well as the Oklahoma Aquarium, the Arkansas River, and The Gathering Place, a world-renowned park. Also Woodland Hills Mall at 71st and S Memorial and Tulsa hills Shopping Center at 71st and US 75. Only minor negatives are no free breakfast and no free coffee. However, they do have a Starbucks in the lobby.
