I went with my extended family for a trip to celebrate a birthday and we had the best time! Jose Antonio assisted us thought the weekend with anything that we needed and helped our group in getting reservations at the best restaurants for dinner! The resort itself was absolutely stunning and made for great pictures. Overall wonderful trip!

A Dream Wedding and an Unforgettable Stay!
We recently (last week) had our wedding here, and it was truly a dream come true! From the breathtaking venue to the impeccable service, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to make our special day perfect, and the experience didn’t end there—our entire stay was nothing short of exceptional. A special shoutout to our butler, Jose, who made our time at the resort even more magical. His attention to detail and thoughtful surprises, such as champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, rose petals in our suite, and other personalized touches, made us feel so special. He ensured we had everything we needed and more, always going the extra mile to accommodate any request. If you’re considering this resort for your wedding or just a luxurious getaway, don’t hesitate—it’s truly an unforgettable experience. We will cherish these memories forever and can’t wait to return next year!

Give Lopesan a try!
Overall, my family really enjoyed our stay. I do think there are some major differences in the “all inclusive“ business model of this hotel versus those that we have stayed at in Mexico. I think it is helpful to know some of the differences, so you can decide whether this would be for you. Maybe this review will help. What we loved: -As others have mentioned this is a new, beautifully designed resort. The facilities are some of the best I have stayed at. -Ocean view rooms on top floors are fantastic. We especially enjoyed our room in the Unique Club building. Zero smell. -We found everything to be very clean, and well maintained. The rooms and balconies are also very spacious. -The buffet cooked foods were delicious. I would personally be weary of uncooked foods, due to the differences is glove wearing and handwashing. Overall the buffets were tasty, but they are different than Mexico. There is less “American” food here, so children may prefer simple items like rice, potatoes, various breads and pastries and roasted veggies. This was no big deal for us. -the restaurants are delicious too. We ate at all but the steakhouse (adults only) and were impressed with how yummy everything is. -the waterpark, arcade, and shops were very entertaining for my children. It was great to be able to break up a day or evening with some family fun. -we liked the beach. More crowded than we prefer, but very pretty and easy activities nearby. -Our butler, ANDRES, from the Unique Club. He was a consummate professional, extremely helpful, and kind. Absolutely worth booking the Unique rooms. What is different from Mexican all inclusives? You will need to work a little harder to get your money’s worth here. For example: - There is no food allowed, and no food service, at the beach or pool. The only way to get food is: a very limited in room menu, one of the buffets (3), or making reservations for nightly dinners when you check in. This can be tough for those traveling with children who never seem to stop eating, because you may not want to leave the pool to go to a buffet. We made adjustments in our day and it was fine, but I would hesitate to return for this reason alone. -if your idea of drink service at the pool and beach includes buckets of beer and an attentive server, you will be disappointed. Typically, you will need to walk to a bar to get drinks, because the servers are far and few between. -set your towels out at 6am, or not have seating anywhere. There are no attendants working, so towels aren’t collected, at unused chairs, until late in the evening. -making all of your dinner reservations for the moment you get your room number, yet the restaurants seem like they can take some walk ins, puts a lot of stress on a family. I was grateful that Andres made those arrangements for us when we checked in. Again, we really like Lopesan and had a great time!

Unforgettable vacation!
We enjoyed our time at the unique Lopesan Bavaro. Our Butler Andreas was extremely friendly and helped us with every want and need. Can’t say enough about the service, attention to detail especially during breakfast at the unique club. The dinners were all delicious from the Mexican, French, Mediterranean, and Japanese. Again the service and attention to detail were second to none. We often use Sandals but now we will be switching to the Lopesan brand for our vacations. So hats off to an unforgettable vacation! From our hearts to yours a big THANK YOU! ❤️

Refreshing
We arrived at the resort within an hour after exiting the airport it's not too far (20 to 30 mins ride in the car). The location is clean and well maintained and reception is quick to welcome and check you in. We booked the Unique experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Enough options for food and drinks and our assigned attendant Jose was wonderful .. helped us make reservations to a'la carte restaurants if we were unable to and provided us with any needs we had. Would recommend to anyone interested in the unique package here ..
