Far but Nice
We were dropped off my our Uber at the wrong check in desk (Conrad) but our stay was at the Hilton. Thankfully, the front desk was able to coordinate and get us checked in but it did take about 30 minutes. He was very nice and walked us over to the Hilton and gave us two small bottles of water. Thankfully he did that because water is so expensive here ($8.50USD per bottle). The resort is cashless so you'll be using your credit card a lot. You can use cash in the casino to gamble though. Our room was nice. Nothing spectacular and we had an ok view. The hotel isn't really on the strip and you'll have to take an Uber to get anywhere. The bed was comfortable, but I didn't find the shower had enough water pressure. The resort is large so you'll be doing a lot of walking to get anywhere. Don't bother using the slot machines. We tried several of them and wasted hundreds of dollars. They literally all just take your money immediately and don't give you any kind of fun bonuses or small wins. The casinos are much better in Canada. I think that is why the casino was never busy especially the slot machines because it's so hard to win anything. There were people at the tables so that may be better odds for people. You can smoke in the casino so it smelled a little. Sometimes like cigars, weed and always cigarettes, but I think that is standard for Las Vegas casinos since they all smelled. This casino didn't smell as bad as some of the other hotel casinos we went to there. They have a mall area and it was so dead. There weren't that many shops and no one was up in that area. Prices are very very high everywhere so be aware of that. A slice of pizza was about $10. It's convenient if you want to take a taxi because you can just go out the front door to grab one, but you'll pay a lot and the taxi rides we had weren't good. Uber is a cheaper option, but you'll have to navigate to find the ridesharing pickup and it's a little bit of a walk to get to. It took a while to check out because there was a large line and they had a special line I guess for the high rollers and they served them first while everyone else had to wait. They stored our luggage for free (you have to tip though) while we spent the day waiting for our flight. Also, be aware they charge a resort fee on top of the room. I think many of the hotels here do this though. We did like the hotel, but if you want to be closer to the action go on the strip. However, if you hate crowds, this is a good option because it wasn't nearly as congested as the strip hotels.

A pretty great experience
Our stay at Resorts World got off to a rocky start. The young lady at the front desk was apparently of the opinion that it was all about her. Finally her manager, Jeryc Villanueva stepped in to correct the situation. He gave us all the upgrades he could then actually escorted my beautiful bride and myself up to our room. We had a Strip View from the 19th floor which was perfect because this stay was for New Years Eve and we wanted to watch the fireworks from the room. The room was comfortable, clean and easy to reach because the elevators were divided by floor levels so we didn't have to wait for everyone from the 56th floor down. The casino was fantastic. Lots of game variety, multiple live games, a wonderful array of restaurants plus fast food options. Mexican, Deli, Vietnamese, Chinese, American, Japanese, ice cream, you name it. Even though it was December one pool was open during the day. I can only imagine what it would look like during peak sunbathing season! The player rewards let us earn free parking for our five night stay (a $90.00 perk). Being Hilton Diamond members we had a dedicated check-in/check-out line too. Parking was plentiful with easy access to the hotel as well. Cocktail service while gaming was above average. All in all, if you don't want or need the kitchen facilities provided by HGV at several local venues we highly recommend Resorts World. If you are a Hilton Honors member you can select from four levels of hotels. I think next time we will look into a more upscale room option.

Not safe at Hilton
First off I was excited to be staying at a Hilton because we have always had the best stays!! Checked in and told the desk staff we had a credit per day of $25 that came with the room and even showed them the email and the girl said I don’t see that in my end so too bed. You’re lucky we let you check in early. Oh ok!! Then we went home from the trip and realized I got hacked when I used my debit card at the atm in the Hilton. I never used the card the whole trip only once to grab some cash from the atm inside hotel by Juniors. They were trying to use my card in Vegas Dec 23 to the tune of $2500. I now have to wait for the investigation to get the money cleared back to me. I thought I would be safe inside the hotel. Wow. I called to let them know which atm I used so they could check it and I was told Oh ok have a nice day. Oh ok. I’ll stay somewhere else next time !!!
