Great stay, great service
Took a weekend trip to get away from Miami and the hysteria of Covid. We found amazingly friendly and welcoming staff and a “normal” environment. The beach service for chairs, umbrellas and food and drink service made us never want to leave
Perfect beach vacation
Hard to say what there is not to like. The hotel is next to a reserve. We walked the white sand every morning and saw even an eagle. The sunsets are unreal. The hotel is nicely decorated but not stuffy. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will come again!
Realtor in Naples stays the weekend at Laplaya
And how amazing it is! You cant begin to imagine the level of customer service provided by everyone that works here. From the Valet to the front desk to the tiki bar to the Beach Hut.. everyone gets an A++++ for being welcoming, friendly, and beyond accomadating to their guests. To start, Flavia is probably hands down the best bartender( who served us on the beach due to social restrictions) in town. Always smiling, always friendly, always checking on us, consistent great service! Flavia has won our business for life! She will always be my go to here at Laplaya. Then there was also Ray, who also was able to answer any questions and accomadate any requests we had regarding property insight and ideas to refer future visitors. Koulton at the Tiki Hut on the beach sure has his hands full putting out beach chairs properly distanced, towels, umbrellas but also, always with a smile. Make sure to tip these hard working men! They are here from open to sunset! Thats a long day! Overall, Laplaya has been my go to spot to bring clients for lunches etc as I work here at Vanderbilt Beach but it is now going to be my #1 recommended hotel for all shoppers flying into town. I promise its worth the visit. You wont be disappointed Nick at the front desk managed to impress us enough that our 1 day stay on Friday was extended to Sunday 5 pm by our choice. More then happy to spend money at businesses where employees are kind, accomadating and value their customers! It truly shows!
Relaxing Weekend !
We wanted to get away for the weekend and relax with all of this COVID- 19 going on. We have always stayed at The Ritz when we come to Naples, but have always been curious about this place. There weren't a lot of people at the hotel, which was fine. It was nice and quiet. The restaurant wasn't open as was expected and their was a light staff around , which the front desk informed us when we checked in. We hung out at the pool on Saturday. The weather was excellent and still not lots of people at the pool. More were at the beach. The hotel staff was friendly when we spoke to them. We stayed on the 11th floor of the hotel. The views can't be beat. I liked the smaller atmosphere of the hotel and we will be back when things get more back to normal. I will give another review the next time we stay to give a more true picture of the service since things were open all the way. We plan on coming back soon.
Vacation and business
I had a wonderful experience at the LaPlaya. I have stayed here in the past and I really liked the hotel and still think it's excellent! Ryan the manager was very accommodating and so was everyone else. The only think I did not care for was all of the old rugs in the rooms and also in the hallways. Other than that, I give the hotel and A plus!!!
