I would NOT stay here
Do NOT stay here. I repeat, do NOT stay here. What a terrible experience! We arrived on June 14 for a 3pm check in. They said our room wasn’t ready and come back in an hour. Ok. No worries. We left and came back 75 minutes later only for them to tell us they haven’t started cleaning it yet and come back in another 30 or 40 minutes. Once we finally got to room 135, it was one of the most sketchy rooms I’ve been inside. (See photos). The most disturbing sight was the stain on the middle of the cover on the bed. When I went back to the front desk to show them, they said they will get someone to go over and clean it. Someone came by and removed the cover, and then never replaced it with anything. Also, the shower was disgusting and the air conditioner made a rattling sound making it impossible to sleep. They couldn’t get us another room and I couldn’t move to another hotel because all hotels were booked up because of a concert. I couldn’t get out of this place fast enough. Do NOT stay here.

Don't book through this site!!
Too many problems to list - I just left all this information with Wyndham, ask them! It appears that booking through this site automatically puts me in the wqorst room available. Never again!

Can’t believe Wyndham would allow this!!!
Bathroom was filthy mold drain was clogged caulking was peeling. Ceiling above shower head was falling. Ask manager on duty to fix the problem we checked out and was not resolved.

Beyond Disappointing - AVOID!
La Quinta El Paso West The Bad: o ALL elevators were out of order, making access to the room on the third floor difficult. o Pool was scummy with algae, making the steps slippery and unsafe…it was also unheated but the website said it was heated. o Hair dryer wouldn't work, made a brief grinding noise, and smelled of burning wires when turned on - possible fire hazard. Unplugged it just to be safe. o Tried several ice machines and all were non-functional, called the office and was told that there were no working ice machines anywhere in the hotel. o When using the in-room telephone to call the office downstairs, they could barely be heard through the receiver. o Bathroom smelled of sewage near the tub. o Paint was chipped off throughout the room’s trim. o Plaster had obviously been poorly repaired on the ceiling in the bathroom due to roof leaks. o Hot water was intermittent, so we could not take a shower on the second day. o Could not take a bath because there was no plug for the tub to hold the water in it. o Bedside lamp made electrical arcing sounds - possible fire hazard o Some lamps had non-working light bulbs or were broken. o Air conditioner blew freezing cold air directly on the bed, making sleep difficult. o Pillows were very old and needed replacing. o Only three electrical outlets were available from any place where you might want to charge your phone or a user laptop and two of them were difficult to get to. o The milk and coffee creamer packets were hidden in an unmarked black refrigerator…no hot breakfast offered beyond waffles and coffee. o The in-room fridge needed its freezer defrosted–could barely use that part of the fridge. o Outdoor stairs appeared to have structural rust and were dangerous–there were trip hazards due to the edging having come off . o Hotel grounds were in terrible shape, covered with litter and shards of glass from cars being broken into. o Landscaping looked to be dead, and the dog area had no doggy bags for waste. o There was no designated area for big rigs and box trucks, so trucks with their noisy cooling systems were parked just outside the guest rooms. Their refrigeration units were turned on, ran making a tremendous amount of noise, and turned off multiple times during the night making sleep nearly impossible. o The structure was a maze of rooms and stairs so it was not easy to get around…there were no maps in the rooms to the facilities. o There were no extras in the room to help getting around El Paso. o The few employees gave the impression that they were understaffed and unhappy about the situation. o Night security seemed non-existent with poor lighting and no cameras…any meal delivery people looked very nervous about coming to the hotel. The Good: o There were several excellent restaurants within walking distance, including Cracker Barrel and Chili's. o The room was clean. o The microwave worked, as did the fridge. o They did bring extra pillows up to the room when they were requesting and they did so promptly. o The bed was comfortable. o The staff seemed very sorry for conditions being so bad.
