Horrible Customer Service - 0 stars!
Worst experience with customer service for a hotel ever. A family emergency arose and this hotel, LaQuinta Inn, Corpus Christi South, refused to cancel my reservation. I paid with reward points for one nights stay and with a credit card for night two. They refused to cancel my reservation, refused to refund the points and also charged my credit card for both nights! I made the reservation two days prior to the stay date and the response the hotel associates repeated was that policy is you must cancel within 7 days of the reservation date. How?! Not only that, I was called at 1:39am on day two from the hotel front desk to ask if I was still going to need the room! Seriously?!! Horrible customer service and a scam for sure. Disputing the credit card charges with my credit card company. They can keep the points, I’m done with Wyndham!
Very unhappy with this establishment
This hotel was a dump. We have stayed many Laquinta's on our travels and have always been very happy. The appearance from the out side and inside was pitiful. Friends who were traveling with us had a cockroach in their room. The ceiling fan and light in the bathroom did not work. We did not stay the night. We would like a refund, but that will happen when pigs fly!
Bull Doze this place, not worth remodeling
Shabby appearance from the outside,dirty and run down looking.Room was not cleaned after the first night ( house keeping forgot?) Plastic bag over smoke alarm and a cigar butt behind the bed ( this was a non-smoking room).Floors dirty and dust and cob webs under the chair in the room.Mold or mildew in bathroom around tub and walls.Refrigerator in breakfast room reading 50+ degrees (way too warm) When the AC turned on it was very loud and distracting.My advice is to stay here only if they pay you.
Worst Stay Ever
Many problems at this hotel. Repeated calls to Front Desk(Jaime) for excessive noise in neighboring room. Noise kept up till 2 am. Brought our pets. Hotel charged us $150 for urine and dog hair on bed sheets. We have stayed at La Quinta at least 10 times last 3 months. Same dogs. No problems. Called Corporate. One lady hung up on me. Second lady said that they did not have any control over hotels. Never staying again.
This is an older La Quinta, but it is under remodeling. I have stayed at many like this before but I have never had issues as I did here. There were torn bed sheets, grease stained bed sheets and drapes (the white privacy one), Dead tree branches and leaves in the pool. I understand I would not have used the pool anyway at this time of the year but it really does not take but a few minutes to clear it out. Their soap and the 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner feel like they were bought at the extreme cheapest place they could find. Lizard in the room we could not catch to kick outside. Not a full breakfast and some of the food was cold. Very disappointed.
