Stayed 8 nights. Mixed reviews on this property, but I did give it 4 stars
The Good: Grounds are nice and views spectacular if you have the right room. We requested a top floor(as I always do). Lower floors that are not over the pool will be blocked by restaurant. Staff, pool area, grounds are all wonderful. Our room was clean and well kept and provided spectacular views. They do have a dive shop Pirates Cove that's on property and that is great for those that dive, snorkel, etc... The Bad: Had dinner one night at the properties restaurant and was totally turned off by how dirty it was and the food was horrible. That whole building should be torn down and rebuilt with a 1 story building. So I do not recommend eating there. Plenty of local spots to try within 20 mins of resort. Beach area was just ok, but you can not expect much of a beach in the keys. On our fourth morning they decided to start some landscaping at 8:30am each day for our last few days. If your on vacation you do not want to have coffee on the deck with the noise of a gas powered trimmer, leaf blower etc... right below your room. Maybe do this later in the day when folks are out doing activities. No property is perfect and we did enjoy our stay overall.

Terrific stay at The Reef House
We got a 2 bedroom suite. Plenty of beds, space, and loved the large balcony with an amazing view of the sunset and ocean. Hotel is clean. Loved the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar. The resort is laid out nicely along the waters edge. Looking forward to returning someday.

Wedding Reception Weekend
First time at the resort for a family wedding at the resort. Many of us stayed for the weekend. Parking on the site is really easy. The rooms are nice. The beds are comfy. The shower water pressure isn’t great if you have long hair and are trying to wash out shampoo. All of our friends and family had the same problem in their showers. The pool area is nice. The bar at the pool makes yummy drinks. We ate dinner at Gus restaurant one night. We were a group of 8 and we arrived as the first guests. The server was pleasant. Our drink order arrived quick. The dinner orders took a long time to arrive- close to 1 hour wait. When the food arrived, it came out piecemeal- 2 plates arrived, several minutes later, 2 more plates arrived and so on until all 8 of us had our meals which spread out over 15 minutes. Food was okay. One tuna steak was ordered as medium but came out well done and dry. Total bill with food and drinks came out to $500. After dinner we went to an outdoor fire pit behind Gus restaurant at 6 PM to chill out and relax. At 8 PM we asked an employee if they could ignite the pit for us. We waited until 10 PM but no one arrived. We had even sent a text to the helpdesk feature at 9 PM and asked the same question and were told an engineer would be coming by soon. So we all left. Next day at the wedding reception, the food and service was nicely done. No complaints there.

Great hotel in Key Largo
Just returned from a 3 day stay at this hotel. What a great experience and value. Everyone from the front desk to all the workers in all areas were tremendously helpful and friendly. Close to many restaurants and activities should you want to explore the Key Largo area. We will definitely return

Perfect!!
I can't say enough good things about this resort. We were looking for a quick getaway over Memorial Day weekend. The Reefhouse was perfect! The resort is beautiful, we spent our days at the pool and the beach. The on site restaurant was great, and the drinks were fantastic. At night we left the resort for dinner. Check out Papa Joe's in Islamorada. We would go back here in a second!
