Great week here!!
We had a wonderful partial ocean view on the 9th floor in building 3. The beach is awesome, the grounds are great, and having two master suites, a full kitchen, living room, and lanai made the stay a joy. The staff exceeded all expectations. Check in was a breeze, bell hops had all our luggage and groceries in the room by the time we checked in. Pool area was always clean and they did a great job of removing towels from unused chairs so there was never an issue getting a chair by the pool. The washer in our unit kept giving an error code. It was a brand new, high end washer - so no fault of the owner. The staff was informed and next day installed a loaner matching washer and dryer. Everyone who worked there was kind and accommodating. No bar or restaurant on grounds, but plenty of that at whalers village, which is a short 5 minute walk. I can't speak for what the other units looked like, but ours was outstanding. I would not hesitate to stay here with the great location and service.

Ka'anapali Beach Vacay
This place is amazing. The views are breathtaking. This is ideally located within walking distance of Whalers Village and many restaurants. If you need to hit the grocery store, there is one that's a 5-minute drive. I am looking into going back.

Kaanapali Alii No Ka Oi
The Alii is the best spot at Kaanapali Beach. The condos are roomy and have everything you need in them. The gym is unbelievable. The beach staff is amazing. Clay tennis courts, great spot by the pool to watch your favorite sports games. Golf courses right across the street. walking distance from Whalers village. We have been going here for years and have been happy in every unit we have stayed in!

Dated and Dirty!
The Kaanapali Alii resort does not have an on-site restaurant or a poolside bar. We stayed in a spacious but dated two-bedroom unit on the second floor. The kitchen was well-equipped, though the toaster needs replacing—it only warmed the bread’s exterior, not the inside. The locks in the master bedroom were inoperable. On the second night, my wife was bitten by a bug, waking up with a large red mark on her back. On the third night, she woke me to kill a large roach in the bathroom. The pool is nice but small and quiet. However, children are not allowed to use floaties, balls, or similar items in the pool. The beach was stunning, and it was great that the resort provided free chairs, though umbrella rentals incur a fee. The bed in our unit was uncomfortable, causing my wife and I daily back pain. On the last night, I slept on the floor with towels for relief. The furniture is a bit outdated, but the TVs are modern. Overall, I would recommend exploring other accommodation options.
