Great property... except for the pool
The hotel and its grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The grab-and-go store is quite expensive, so keep that in mind. My main issue, however, is with the pool situation. If you want a chair by the pool, you’ll need to wake up around 6 AM to get in line and wait roughly an hour for it to open. Then, like everyone else, you rush in and try to reserve a seat with a towel. It’s chaotic and far from a luxury experience. This process needs improvement. I shared my concerns with Marriott but never received a response.

Perfect beach hotel
Perfect location and excellent staff. No need to leave the resort you have multiple pools, restaurants and the beach. I did the sailing trip offered by Marriott the captain was great, saw dolphins and collected sea shells. Very attentive to Marriott status and made me happy I prioritize Marriotts. Only complaint was even for a luxury Marriott the bowling and mini golf was ridiculously overpriced.

Great session and experience
Our family had a great experience during our session with Chris with Photo Concierge , and the pictures turned out even better than we imagined. Our kids (three under the age of 10) had a good time and were engaged throughout the shoot. We would recommend this to anyone liking to take beach photos with the family when in Marco Island.

Exceptional hotel with beautiful and pristine beach.
Hotel is beautiful with many restaurant and bar options. Beach is very calm and pristine. One of my favorite Marriott hotels. Definitely try all the dining options they have on property. At check in Zina and Chase were extremely friendly and efficient. Also our server Philomena was exceptional and the restaurant manager too. Terence, the manager at Tesoro restaurant is great also, I believe that’s his name. Make sure not to miss the luau fire show.

Beautiful Beach and nice Marriott, but not a JW....
2nd time staying here and the deep beach is absolutely beautuful. This is very large hotel that appears to be sevearl older hotels/condos that were cobbled together, making for an odd layout and disjointed walks when trying to get to a particular location. Main entry/valet is insufficient for the hotel's size, as others note. Property and my room (both times in the adults-only building, which includes a separate pool) were in good condition and provided good nights sleep. Appears all rooms at the hotel have at least an angular view of the beautiful waters. Bathroom used standard Marriott amentities glued-to-the-shower rather than the individual amenities found in most global JWs or other high-end hotels. No turn-down service at night, which I've come to expect in JWs, St Regis and similar grade chains. Banquet food served was solid but the staff was inconsistent. One evening I asked the Concierge to send several small items up to my room; she assured she'd have them up shortly but they never arrived. I asked the bellman when departing early in the morning for tape to close a box. Opened one drawer and said he didn't have any, then went back into the luggage storage room. No effort at all or "wait a minute and let me see where I might find some." He instead suggested "if you're going to the airport they'll likely have some there and will probably open your box anyhow." Great answer, and fortunately the Hilton Vacation Club a few doors down was happy to help. Have stayed at JW's on several continents and this is nowhere near the standard expected. Its a nice, overpriced Marriott in a great location.
