    Great family trip!

We went the end of May 2025. 5 adults and 2 children. Great time, food was great, pool was great. The sargassum on the beach was pretty bad but it did not make our trip a bad one. We still hung out at the beach but did the pools a little more. The grandkids like the pools more anyway. Would definitely go back.

    First all inclusive resort

Overall the experience was pleasant but it was difficult getting into a restaurant for dinner. Could not get into the steak house or Japanese hibachi. As a large resort signage was lacking to guide one to a specific venue. The food was okay but nothing was outstanding. The drinks were definitely watered down as I felt no effect after multiple rounds. No ocean view room as advertised but the trip from and back to the airport was very good. My first all inclusive trip.

All you could want with an all-inclusive vacation.

Lost count but believe this was our fifth visit to the Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo. Our family loves this place. For the price, you get clean rooms with all amenities you need, beautiful grounds, good food and exceptional service. I’d like to mention Elizabeth at reception and Jhoni and Santos at the pool bar. Always working hard with a smile on their faces. Thanks for another great vacation!

    Not for me

I was so excited to visit this resort after so many positive reviews. But unfortunately I would not return. There are a few things that are really important to me in a resort, ocean views - proximity, size and ease to get around, food and rooms. This resort really hits the mark with families with teenage children! I can see how this resort offers so much for them. But as an solo adult, it was just way too big, no ocean views, very basic rooms and amenities, average to below average food and drinks, and not great service. For the price point I was expecting so much more. The star of the week was the beach, it’s beautiful, lots of loungers, drink service and beach food.

Great Experience. Don't Believe The Haters.

Had seen a lot of negative reviews prior to our trip and they were all unfounded. I honestly think those people wouldn't be happy anywhere. If you're thinking of going, ve y disfruta! Absolutely huge resort. Too big if you have mobility issues but they have a shuttle service to get you anywhere you need to go. We had a great time walking and exploring. Grounds are beautiful with various native animals. Yes the coati are everywhere but they didn't bother us at all. If you have a fear of animals, I can see how this would be unappealing. For us, it was a part of the experience. Grounds were stunning. Tip the gardeners and maintenance team. They don't get enough respect. Service was great. Had an issue with elderly members of our party being put on an upper floor which they rectified the next morning (we arrived at midnight). AC worked fine and they turned it lower upon request. Gracias Fernanda! Aside from one poor experience at the sports bar (where they simply ignored us, later refusing to serve our 18+ kids and calling them inappropriate names in Spanish) everyone was beyond fantastic! Johny who floated between bars was a top notch bartender. Food was good. Have I had better? Sure. Have I had worse? Hell yes. Far, far worse. They focus more on the restaurants so the food there is better and the buffet was on the smaller side. No issues with food temps or getting into restaurants. Longest we waited was maybe 10min. With drinks in hand, no one saw any problem. Beach and pool were beautiful. Got chairs every time for a group of 7 all together. Maybe not front row every day but we got them. Some underwater rocks in areas but more than enough sandy areas. Sargasso? Yes, but it is the season and they worked all day cleaning it up. Victor, Nano, Catalina at Dressel Divers were great. Muchas gracias Moises por la lección de navegación! A great time and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
