STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family oriented environment, the resort will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. Students/youth are considered by the hotel as any person between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:

 - All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
- In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group
without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

SPRING BREAK POLICY- Iberostar Hotels & Resorts is a family oriented environment and thus has implemented the following policy for Spring Breakers reservations. The valid period is March 1st, 2020 to April 30th, 2020. Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age.

- One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behavior.

    Birthday/engagement trip

    Resort was very clean and staff was friendly. Due to covid I know there was probably some staffing issues because of it which is understandable but we enjoyed our time, definitely come back to iberostar

    Super nice staff

    I was worried about going solo on this trip but the staff made me feel so welcome I was never lonely. Eduardo, Irving, Lourdes, Antonio and many others all made my trip so special. I also enjoyed the entertainment. The performers are all so talented and nice. I would especially like to thank Beto and Gemenia for making me feel like part of the family. The property and beach also are the best. Highly recommended after this great experience.

    MUST COME !!

    I love Iberostar so much. This is literally my go to hotel. The staff is great and the shows are amazing. It’s definitely worth staying up for. Beto and Jaminny are amazing dancers who encourages you to dance with them. They are so sweet and so kind. If you ever go to Cancun you must come here!

    The shows were fantastic and I had so much fun! I loved my experience in this resort and will definitely come back! Big shoutout to the beto and jaminny!! They are amazing and so kind! The food was so good! Definitely come here to visit!

    Worst 5-star resort I have ever stayed at. Please Do NOT stay here.

    Please please hear me out! I have been staying at all-inclusive resorts in Mexico for the last 15 years and never have I been so disappointed in a resort that I had to go write a review. I am not high-maintenance and actually do not like being waited on but what we experienced at Iberostar was horrible. It seems that all the employees hate their jobs and are miserable being at work. Because of Covid, you weren't able to serve yourself at the buffet. My friends and I felt awkward asking the employees for food and drinks because they were so unfriendly. We felt like we were asking them for the biggest favor when we needed water/utensils/salt. It was very uncomfortable and there was no way around it since we couldn't get anything ourselves. The food was honestly horrendous. I am the least picky eater out there and have NEVER complained about food but something was off about every single food item at Iberostar. I even asked other guests what they thought about the food and everyone told me "it's disgusting." We were told the food was better at the restaurants however there was no availability. A fww guests told us they left every night for dinner because the food was so bad. The resort was so bad that we had to check out early and move to a different resort. Iberostar wouldn't upgrade us or compensate our stay. There were other guests complaining at the lobby as well. The food and customer service was so bad which is very unusual for Mexico, Iberostar, but mostly an expensive 5-star hotel. Something has to change from their management. I am almost certain that they have a third party writing good reviews for them so please please please read the bad reviews. The property and beach are beautiful but that is the only good thing about this resort. Please do not stay here and make the same mistake we made.
