STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family oriented environment, the resort will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. Students/youth are considered by the hotel as any person between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
- All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
- In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group
without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
SPRING BREAK POLICY- Iberostar Hotels & Resorts is a family oriented environment and thus has implemented the following policy for Spring Breakers reservations. The valid period is March 1st, 2020 to April 30th, 2020. Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age.
- One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behavior.
- In the event that any guest(s) engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s) without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

Waitress veronica made our evening experiences amazing! All the days were well spent, we had some awesome adventures. The restaurants had an amazing selection of food, especially the buffet. Rooms were also cleaned thoroughly and in a timely manner.

The Best in Cancun
Best vacation for our family. Our 5th time coming to Iberostar in Cancun and we don’t get sick of it. Hotel is very beautiful and beach as well. Friendly and always to serve staff . Our kids treated amazingly in kids club by Paloma, Elheu, Emy, Fernanda, Mitchel, Libni, Gina -they’re all so awesome with kids. Also our cabana server Lily was amazing, so fast and caring to details. Entertainment team always was so fun. Fernando in Sales department is our family best friend forever. We felt like family with Iberostar.

Veronica Lobby bar palmas
Veronica, took care of us so great at the Palmas bar this week. She was very pretty :) and attentive to all our needs. I thought her attentiveness to service and willing to go the extra mile meant a lot. :) We will come back! Peed and Outland Family!

Great hotel, food & staff..
Wonderful hotel. Two weeks with a very relaxed vibe. The food selection was outstanding. Ate at the Steakhouse & Mexican restaurants twice. All booked by Luis, an amazing Sommelier. Enjoyed the lobby bar in the evenings. Veronica quick to bring our order and so friendly. Booked some tours. Great location to visit Mayan culture. A Cenotes is a must! Would love to return…

Amazing Experience at Iberostar Selection Cancun – April 3rd to April 10th, 2025
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Iberostar Selection Cancun from April 3rd to April 10th, 2025, and I have to say—it was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the Club Prestige staff, especially Ari, Sergio, Ivan and Alexandr. A special mention also goes out to the wonderful bartender (whose name, unfortunately, I can't recall), but she was always smiling and brought such positive energy every time we saw her. The buffet staff truly went above and beyond. Chef Daniel ensured that the food was excellent, while Nehemiah and Antonio consistently kept our table stocked with water and drinks. Their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed and made our dining experience even better. At the Beach Club, Angela, Israel, Williams, and Rosli were phenomenal. They went out of their way to make sure our beach time was nothing short of perfect—super attentive, friendly, and professional. Our room was very comfortable, and I want to give a big shoutout to the cleaning lady responsible for Room 904. She was always smiling, incredibly kind, and very helpful. It's the little touches like hers that make a stay memorable. We’re definitely coming back. Iberostar Cancun gave us one of the best vacation experiences we’ve had, and we can't wait to return!
