    The BEST service of ANY Hilton property around the World!

    Wow, just wow! As a road warrior and six year Hilton Diamond Member, the Staff deserves all the praise! I read reviews and saw mostly good things, and a couple things to look out for, like a possible long check-in. But let me tell you my experience. We arrived and stood in line for check-in for a minute, then were greeted by an employee holding a tray of fruity alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. Upon learning I was a Diamond, they took my sister and I over to the concierge desk for a VIP check-in service. We were upgraded to a partial ocean view (I booked a standard garden room on points), then given red wristbands. When asking what they were for, were told, you guys are the "bosses" around here :) Next, we attended the Diamond member happy hour. It was lively, fun, nice hor d'oeurves, drinks, and raffle prizes. The manager was genuine and looking to please the Diamond members in hopes to earn our recommendations. Then we went to dinner- I could write pages about our dining experiences here, but to try to sum it up, they were all AMAZING! Don't miss the Sunday night cook out- it is a gourmet spread that also included local delicacies! Activities- the hotel activities are fun! I participated in the talent show (singing), Smores, GameFest, etc. Also we went to Rose Hall, Duns River Falls at Ocho Rios, Snorkeling, and Scuba Diving. I recommend them all. The hotel slides are great, all free (alcoholic & non) drinks, plenty places to sit around the two separate pools, two jacuzzis, beach lounge chairs and deck lounge chairs. It's a family friendly resort and even though I don't have kids, I liked the family vibe over a spring break college crowd vibe. Everyone maintained a reasonable level. It was my first time in Jamaica, and I still think of it often! The biggest take away was the service. From the front desk, concierge, pool, servers, bartenders, housekeeping, etc. they are truly happy people and go above and beyond in their jobs. I noticed that many of them work doubles- for instance, the same employees dancing in the nightly entertainment show are also working other positions during the day. It's not easy to work a double shift and still be smiling at 9pm! Kudos to them and I hope they get paid overtime! The staff here is the best example of Hilton's service, and I look forward to coming back with more of my family and friends!

    Amazing trip. Wonderful staff. Great food

    Loved the water park for kids. The beach was amazing with soft sand. Lots of options for trip with family and kids. Food was outstanding. Enjoyed the amazing food. So many options and all were delicious. Jerk chicken on the beach. Buffet was great. Seaside grill was so yummy. Mangoes for pop in lunch was awesome. Mangoes dinner was great with a fantastic outside atmosphere. Loved ANNIE’s Smokehouse!! Food was amazing and the atmosphere was picturesque. Oliver, the chef, was fantastic. Talked to him during the day and he was so friendly. He suggested the smokehouse for dinner and it EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!, it’s a must when u are there. The food was amazing. It’s BBQ style and so delicious. Chicken and corn was delicious, beef brisket was like noth8ng I’ve had before. So tender and flavourful. We had a group of 15. Tasshawn was our server. All staff were so kind and friendly and even to the little kids. They introduced themselves and wanted to know all the kids names so they could talk to them. Just amazing place and friendly people. I would go back in a second!! Thanks for the great service and memories.

    First time visiting Jamaica and it couldn't have been better! Daine and his team do a wonderful job. My experience was exceptional at this property and I'm glad I was able to read between the lines of some reviews that seem to be more concerned with waiting in line for a few minutes versus the overall experience. I will attempt to stay on point and not editorialize, to keep this brief. My family visited for 5 nights in March, a couple of weeks before things got crazy with the virus, and the resort was fully operational and busy. Checking in around 3:00 pm, there was no delay and it was a smooth process. At no time during the stay did I see excessive lines in the lobby for check in/out. Rooms: Had 2 rooms while we were there. Both were extremely clean and comfortable. All items worked and the beds were great. Stocked mini bar was replenished daily. No issues with either room. Views were wonderful. My biggest concern on any trip is the room. I want it to be clean, mold free, a/c works, enough hot water, good water pressure in the shower, no smells, and a bed that allows me to sleep well. All of these items were achieved here. Note: I have read reviews that imply carpet in the room smelled. Not sure what this is about since the rooms have no carpet in them? There is carpet in the halls, but unless someone is sleeping in the hall, I have no clue what the issue is with carpet. The grounds are extremely clean and well maintained. Having the golf course next door is a bonus which makes for some great photos and a nice place to walk around. The "beach" stretches out for quite a distance to the East, and there were plenty of chairs during our time there. The water area is roped off as far as where you can go, but there is room for everyone. Use a mask and snorkel to see everything going on down there. Pool and water slides are clean and fun. Never a shortage of towels or lounge chairs. My kids are 17 and 19, but they still enjoyed the slides. Food: We tried everything and overall I would say it's fine. There are some things which are great and some which are okay. Think of it as a buffet in Vegas. They are feeding hundreds of people at a time. Expectations should be in line with reality. It's not 5 star Michelin dining, but how can it be? Bottom line is there is something for everyone, and plenty of it. The reservation locations should all be tried if time permits. Food service: Outstanding! Didn't have one bad experience with service in any area of the property. They were all very attentive, and service from the heart came through at every turn. Wait times: For all of our reservations, we were seated quickly around the reservation time. For the buffet or other non-reservation locations, never waited more than 10 minutes. Yes, this is an older property, but the rooms we had were updated and modern. I don't know if they are all recently renovated, but you can always call and ask. Again, I stress the service at every level was exceptional. I never got the impression from any worker they would only take care of us if they thought they were getting tipped. While I did tip frequently, it wasn't done until AFTER the service was provided. Expectations of a stay are different for everyone. Some care about the amount of liquor in a drink while others care about the cleanliness of a room. Some care about how many rocks are in the water while others care about how helpful the staff is. There is no property in the world that will make everyone happy. My experience at Hilton Rose Hall made me very happy, as the boxes for the things I care about were all checked. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it for anyone who has similar cares/concerns to mine.

    Beautiful place. Excellent food. Lots of activities .loved the water park and jerk chicken was awesome. First time in Jamaica. Boat tour was short but fun. Would not recommend it for kids. Dunns river is a must. Shopping away from tourist area can save you money. Always turn down elicit drugs you never know what they put into. Bob Marley house tour was a bit boring.

    Awesome resort and vacation experience! Highly Recommend

    One of the best parts of our experience here is the amazing service we received from Annju White! While the entire staff was incredible and accommodating, Anj was by far the best and most memorable :)
