Amazing experience from check in to check out. We stayed in the Turquoise Tower Master King Ocean Front. I'll break it down in sections below.. Check in: Smooth check in. We opted to take the transportation through Hyatt, minimum of 4 nights in Turquoise Tower it's included! Very easy to meet with driver at airport. Due to COVID, they sanitized our luggage, hands and soles of shoes. Our butler then walked us from main entrance to Turquoise lobby, giving us a tour of the resort on the way. Room: First impression is very spacious, two sinks and nice king bed. Pillows could be a little more firm, but that's ok. Mini bar included plenty waters, beers and sodas. Nice selection of snacks. Highlight of this is the hot tub overlooking the peninsula and two sides of the ocean. Amazing view, I don't think a view in Cancun could beat this one. Pools/restaurants: I wish we had time to try all the restaurants, but the ones we did try were great. Some places required a reservation due to limited seating because of pandemic. Habeneros (no reservation required) had some of the best margaritas and ceviche I've had in a long time, overlooking the 'calm' side of the ocean. The chamoy margarita was fantastic. Lorenzos had great brick oven style pizza and salad, we ate there for lunch. We also got food to go at Moongate, which was pretty good. I enjoyed the curry and stir fry, and was surprised how much I enjoyed the sushi. I wish we had time to try the Teppenyaki. Our go to places were the little food truck during the day, solid quesadillas and nachos. And tres cervesas at night. Really good wings, and their in house IPA's were pretty good. Tres Cervesas had some great entertainment at night, including karaoke and live bands who were actually really good. This was our go to place every night. The breakfast buffet had a really large selection of good stuff, from home made breakfast tacos to lox to omelets. one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had at a resort. The main pool was really fun during the day, nice swim up bar. But the highlight of our stay was the Punta Vista pool (Turquoise guests only).. great view with an infinity pool that overlooks the resort. The drinks are incredible. We stayed in a cabana there, I'd highly suggest renting one. Service: Highlight of the trip. Previous resorts we been to can't compare. Daniel and Irma at Punta Vista would greet us every time with a drink already made. Gus was a fantastic butler who always greeted us and asked us if we needed anything. Orlando working the pool always made us feel welcomed. I wish I would've got more names. Overall, for a trip during a pandemic everything was very safe, socially distant, and fun. I took this trip with the idea to leave the resort, maybe do an excursion. But once we arrived, I realized we had no reason to leave. We will be back!
Just pack a small bag..They have everything else you need
This is my favorite resort in all of Mexico. The service is amazing and the pools and views are just as good. Habanero's on the beach is good enough to eat lunch at every day, and the Hibachi at Moongate is so good (the lobster tail is the best!). There is always someone there to get you anything you need. I have gone every year for the last 3 years and have no plan on stopping that tradition. Safe and clean!
Amazing place to stay!
The hotel was so clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. The food was amazing, the spa was world class, and the whole place felt like a place that movie stars go. There was so much beach access with snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking. We absolutely loved it. We stayed during Covid and honestly everything was so well kept. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!!!
Over delivered in every Way!
Excellent resort, friendly staff, amazing ocean fronts & pools. Every restaurant was high quality food with amazing service, the spa was one of the best we've experienced (Great Job Sara & Azucena)! The pool/ocean side staff was excellent.
