Go somewhere else!
Extremely disappointed in this hotel. We have stayed at several Hyatts and have been extremely let down by this one. The beach was great and probably the only positive thing we experience with this resort. Upon arrival, we didn't get welcome drinks and waited about an hour to check in at 8 pm. Our flight was delayed so we got there 5 hours later than expected but still waited a while to check in despite being vantage club members. We checked in and changed for dinner to be met with all the restaurants except the buffet refusing us despite us trying to get a table 2 hours before closing. We waited at Oishi another night and waited for 45 minutes before we just ordered room service. Food was decent and mostly was fine. It was also my husband's birthday and despite me messaging, calling, and speaking to at least 3 different staff members of this hotel - we didn't get the birthday set up in our room. I wanted to do the paid birthday surprise option and was told it would be taken care of. Room service was fine, but turn down service was random. It only happened 2 of the last 4 nights we were there. I expressed my concerns about everything to the VIP services when we were offered to take the tour and he said he was going to talk with the concierge and nothing was still done. I think communication and accessibility is lost at this hotel. We didn't know we needed wrist bands for the beach. There were days where there is nothing on the schedule and then activities were happening anyway. The quality of activities were also meek and timed terribly. Dinner and acitivities make you pick one or the other and having to race to the next thing to do. Lack of variety and display of schedule. Also disappointed in the whole reservation aspect for dinner. We've stayed at Rius before and the experience was far greater than this one has been.

Great Customer Experience
We have been to a number of all inclusive resorts, this one is very near the top, just keep in mind it is not a water front resort. The attentive, friendly and hard working staff really make it a highly rated customer experience. My wife and I truly enjoyed our 9 day stay, we used the shuttle to go to the beach club, great water, great service and very decent food. Back at the resort, the expansive decks pool side allow plenty of space for the loungers so it's not crowed. The entertainment staff was great. Jesus our waiter pool side was tons of fun and very attentive. Eduardo our bar tender at the swim-up bar was always smiling and made us feel like old friends. There is kind of a beachy feel due to the wood decks around the pool and the sand in various locations around the hammocks. A different kind of resort in this respect, if you're not a fan, head to the beach club. Eduardo our waiter at the International Buffet operates on a totally elevated level of service, he is definitely outstanding.

First Class Experience!
What an amazing experience! The hotel hosted a Tuna cutting ceremony known as a "Ronqueo" in Mexico. It was so much more than just a culinary experience, there was a ceremonial fire show with Mayan Warriors and acrobats celebrating each course that was served. I hope they make this a monthly event so more people can take advantage of this experience. It's open to hotel guests as well as outsiders. The dinner included a welcome drink and a spectacular 4-course dinner. The staff and service was great! The organizer of the event and manager of the beach club, Pablo, was attentive to every table and welcomed all the guests personally. It's this kind of personal service that makes an event successful!

Amazing Ronqueo dinner experience!
I went with a friend to Ennea Beach Club from Hyatt Vivid for a Ronqueo event (tuna cutting ritual) and it was an amazing experience! It was my first time at an event like this and I just loved everything! The music, the ambiance, the performers that brought in the Tuna, the costumes, the fire acts, the ancestral feel of the whole event was incredible! A 4 courses dinner with fresh delicious tuna! Many thanks to Pablo, the manager and organizer of this event and to all his staff for putting together this amazing dinner with such and original new way to present this kind of events! Time flew by! Everything was very well organized. Bravo! Also, the Club was open to outside local guests as well as for hotel guests. As a local I find it a very good option in Cancun to do something different at a very beautiful location on the beach! We will surely be participating to more events! Gracias!!
