The hotel was great and the food was good overall. I am not a huge fan of the all inclusive food usually, but this was better than most hotels. They are still working out some new hotel kinks, but nothing to worry about. We recommend Fresco Ceviche for lunch, don’t miss this hidden gem near the pool.

It was a vibe!
We traveled from Scotland to stay at the Hyatt Grand Vivid for 10 nights and we were absolutely blown away by this hotel, the service, the food… we couldn’t fault it! We had a bay view room with access to the rooftop pool, the room was spacious, clean, a huge very comfortable bed and quiet. We split our days between the rooftop pool and the beach club. The rooftop pool was so chilled out, very windy but honestly not sure we would have survived the heat without the wind, the pool was cold but refreshing after the heat of the sun. We enjoyed watching the golfers and were thoroughly looked after by Mario! The beach club was a vibe! It didn’t bother us that it was off site, it was literally 5 mins on the shuttle bus and we never waited long for a bus either way, and with being there 10 nights these felt like little excursions to break up the trip. The food at the beach club was up there for us - recommended the tuna nachos & burger. It was very chilled and quiet midweek but did get super busy at the weekends which wasn’t our scene. The food in general was by far the best we have ever eaten at an all inclusive. Everyone you spoke to had a different favourite restaurant and I think that just goes to show it’s all good just depends on your personal preference. The breakfast buffet was so fresh, lots of choice. Fresh juices and eggs cooked fresh not sat out. Lunch we tried to get to the Fresco Ceviche when we could but they defo need more seats as it’s popular, it was so fresh and healthy. Or the beach club when we were there. We ate at the buffet lunch twice and again it was fresh , tasty and lots of choice. The cafe was great for mid afternoon bagels or morning smoothies. Dinner - we loved that there was no buffet and it was restaurants instead, we ate at all but standout was the Steak or Duck at the French, and everything at the Japanese!!! All restaurants had a lovely atmosphere. We ate out at the taco truck one evening which was fun and got room service another. Couldn’t fault the food at all. We were there to relax and that’s what we did. This is not a party hotel and we loved that. The main pool and bloom lobby bar weren’t really our vibe (louder) so we stayed to the quieter areas of the rooftop / Bach club and the “hidden” serenity bar after dinner (which closes at 10pm… love an early night!) shout out to Jesus at Serenity bar for the best tunes and cocktails! It was very much a relaxed day drinking early night vibe and our drink of the holiday was spicy mango margaritas , highly recommend! The whole aesthetic of the hotel is just gorgeous and it’s very clean, we prefer to go to different hotels each holiday but we both agreed we’d make an exception to come back here so that’s saying something!

Fresco ceviche
The hotel is amazing BUT FRESCO CEVICHE IS AMAZING- Guadalupe and Jesus were the best and the service was amazing and Jesus is the best at giving us top notch service. The food is INCREDIBLY fresh and they are great at giving us the BEST service and making us feel special always. Can’t compare this place to anything else.

Great hotel, great staff
Had an excellent time at the hotel, special mention to Yohana who led the water bicycling event and volley ball with enthusiasm and professionalism. Overall a great stay, no complaints. Nice modern facilities, good food, pools and beach club.

Perfect hotel
I went on a trip alone and I met some incredible geos who made me spend two unforgettable weeks, I made friends. Their smiles, their energy are incredible, the activities with them went by too quickly, laughter and laughter it was so cool, my heart is filled with love for all these geos but three in particular that I also love and who are in my heart forever thank you to Orlando, Johana and my beautiful Cesars you are incredible Mr. volleyball Yannick The rooms are very nice, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the food is excellent, the beach club is perfect, nothing to say.
