    Hyatt disappoints

Shower was dated, caulking and shower drain were worn and looked dirty. Bath tub was dusty. Towels and bathrobe were thin and scratchy (beddings, mattress, and pillows were decent). I did like the room layout. Customer service was very disappointing. Triple check that you don’t leave anything behind or it’ll take an act of Congress to get any direction as to how to retrieve your belonging even you came back 7 hours after you checked out. And to be given a website to report and process loss. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed in a Hyatt stay.

CHILLED water at bottle filling station

Love the bottle filling station next to the ice machine and elevator — it dispenses CHILLED water. Great location: Hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the SMART Santa Rosa Downtown station. Rides on SMART trains are FREE for seniors (65+) and youths (0-18). Shortcut: From the Santa Rosa Downtown SMART station, cut through the Chevy's restaurant car park on your left to get to the street intersection nearest the hotel. From Sonoma County Airport (STS), use the Pingo app to book a ride via local transit van to the SMART Airport station; again, seniors ride FREE.

Great way to explore Santa Rosa

The hotel is really nice - what I've come to expect from Hyatt. Large updated rooms, nice linens, etc. We stayed for the weekend in order to have a fun staycation - pool time, biking to nearby attractions (main bike trails right behind the hotel), and enjoying the restaurants in railroad square. Delivered on all fronts, will do it again next year.

    Nice location to visit Sonoma

Chose this hotel for its proximity to wineries and local restaurants. Part gravel parking lot, was puzzling given the pricing (nearly $400/night) of what turned out to be a standard hotel room, nothing special. We did enjoy a walk out patio from our room, but overall the room was just average. The breakfast buffet was the highlight of this hotel stay, providing a hot and above quality meal with friendly and courteous service. Might want explore other hotel options in this area.
