Wonderful accommodations
Attended a conference in Rochester and stayed at the Hyatt Regency for 2 nights. Hotel has everything you could possibly need without leaving the hotel. I attended the conference, got dinner, utilized the terrace/lounge on the 4th floor, and market place downstairs all without leaving the hotel.

Great stay!
I stay at this hotel 1-2 times per year for business in Rochester. The staff is amazing! So friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfortable
The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable. I slept the whole night. I'm the morning Bernard at the front desk checked me out and wished me a safe journey home. So great to be greeted in the morning by such a kind person. Overall, very good experience.

Poor Management at night
Ask the night manager for assistance and was rudely told he was too busy with something else to talk to me. I told him he was being rude and I walked away. The guy proceeded to follow me and interrupted me when I was speaking to another employee. Then he followed me to the restroom and waited for me to come out. Trying to explain his rudeness. I walked away and the guy still followed me back to the bar. He stood by me until I decided to finally talked to him. I didn’t appreciate being stalked after he was rude to me. Also the elevators didn’t work. I waited 20 minutes for a elevator to come and when it did it was full and I was forced to wait another 15 minutes for the next one which was also full but I squeeze on because we were already running late. No way I should spend over a half hour waiting for a elevator.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience left our family very upset. We checked in just before 8pm with 3 small kids. We tried to go to the restaurant which was open until 10 and the server was so rude. Maybe she didn’t want to be bothered so late but there are hardly any restaurants close by. We have a child with an allergy and she was so ignorant answering questions about the menu. When I tried to clarify an ingredient she began to yell obscenely and tell me that I was accusing her of not knowing how to do her job. It got to the point where we had no choice but to leave. The kids were so upset and didn’t even want to stay at the hotel. I sent 2 emails to the hotel but no one cared enough to reply. I also agree with others that the lobby is nice but the rest of the hotel wasn’t the cleanest. Beds were comfortable but rooms are very loud and we could hear the people in the next room showering and talking. The AC unit was also very loud every time it came on. The front desk staff was friendly but no help in finding restaurants. I thought we paid good money for a ‘nice’ hotel. But we will never chose Hyatt again.
