Walking distance to Convention center.....need signs for distance from hotel --- cool and covered walkway is much longer walk than crossing street in 3 mins of sun.... Room size was great, and very comfortable, nice view of pool too.....Appreciated iron and coffee in room. Slept well. Pool was nice, but concerned about slipping in bathroom by pool - me being wet and all....overall great stay!!!!

Convenient and Comfortable
The Hyatt is extremely convenient when there is a conference at the convention center. The hotel continues to be a great place to stay, the staff are very courteous and professional, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub and an added bonus!! I love staying here!

Jun 03, 2025Surprisingly disappointed
I was dissatisfied with the room. The location was terrible, it smelled damp, the lighting was poor since the bulb was damaged. To top it off, I had dirty sandals left in the room from the previous guests. The carpet felt sticky and unclean. I also had to get my bill corrected before check before check out. I don’t know how this went wrong. I used to love staying here for my conferences.

I will not stay at this hotel again! The lack of disclosure about charging $48 to use the pool is disappointing! I booked this hotel months in advanced and wanted to chill by the pool, relax before going to the convention I was attending and out of all the years I have attended and stayed at this hotel even before it was the Hyatt, when it was the Peabody! This years fee of $48 per day to use the pool was disgusting and greedy! I paid enough for my stay $861.12 to be able to enjoy the pool for free! Needless to say my convention/vacation was ruined because I didn’t get to relax by the pool! Who charges to use the pool?!! Or to sit pool side you have to pay?!? Or go to the pool side restaurant because you have to pay to access the pool to get to the restaurant?!?! The pool access should be complimentary! Do better Hyatt!

A nice hotel with friendly staff. Wonderful pools and water slide. Great for family with kids. Limited breakfast options at the hotel diner. No shuttles to Disney world or Disney spring. It is pretty far from the Disney parks but close to the MCO airport.
