Lost Pines with the Kids on Spring Break
We had an excellent time at Lost Pines over Spring Break this past year. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff was excellent. The kids enjoyed the daily activities. The pool was a lot of fun, although a little chilly in early March. Movie night on the lawn was great. We could trust our 8 and 7 year old to be on there own to do events and have fun riding the bikes. The restaurant's were just ok. The food was good but the service was a little lacking. The pool service was excellent. It was the beginning of the Covid-19 touchdown in the states so that may have effected the restaurant service. Overall very relaxing time. Would definitely go back.
Cruise cancelled the day before departure and we were in south TX without a plan. Found the Lost Pines Resort searching for resorts in TX and couldn't have been happier. Wonderful experience for adults and children.
Great get away with kids
Great place to go that has adult and kids activities. The pool, food, golf, and all the kids activities made it a great place to stay. The staff were great especially the staff that pout on the kids events. We will definitely be back at some point this summer.
This Hotel is awesome!
We have been coming to this resort / hotel for over ten years and we have never once been disappointed. We just got back from another awesome weekend getaway and again nothing but great things to say. According to our two kids this was the best time they have ever had. We went for spring break and to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We want to give a special thank you to Jacob Spakes ( front desk Manager ) who went above and beyond to make this a very special occasion that none of us will ever forget. He is exemplifies everything we love about this awesome Hotel. We love all the rooms on the first floor rooms with a patio door. The food truck near the pool has really good food too. PRO TIP - bring a flashlight and go for a walk around the property at night and you will see a lot of deer.
Well worth the drive
Our first visit and we will definitely going back. While it was Spring Break and lots of families around, you never felt overly crowded. There were still many areas to break away as the grounds were massive, beautiful and easily accessible. The staff is attentive and the food/drinks is reasonably priced. Plenty of activities in the area and on site for guests of all ages. We can't wait to go back.
