    The most amazing Hotel ever

great experience, my only problem was the big water ugs by the pool, they were everywhere and they forced us to end our night early

    Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. The rooms are quite large. I wish they offered rooms with two queen beds, and not just double beds. The decor is a little dark. The pool was lovely. Einstein's bagels was convenient in the lobby and offered plenty of options for snacks and breakfast. We used the parking next door at the Regency Garage, which has a skywalk on the third floor to the hotel, and this was significantly cheaper than the valet parking.

    Out of Service Elevators

5/7 elevators were not working. Fellow co-worker stuck in elevator for 30 minutes. Hundreds of fellow employees were late to meetings waiting for the 2 elevators and the rest were ready to pass out on the stairwell walking up 10+ floors because elevators were taking too long.

    worst ever!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. I had a confirmed reservation at the Hyatt Houston Downtown through Expedia, and I had all the proof. When I arrived, the front desk told me Expedia put in the wrong date. That was a lie. When I called Expedia, they confirmed my reservation was correct on their end. When they spoke to Priscilla at the hotel, she admitted the hotel had canceled my reservation on their side. I never requested a cancellation, and no one from the hotel ever called, emailed, or notified me in any way. So not only did they cancel my stay without notice, but the man I first spoke to also lied and tried to shift the blame to Expedia. Even the Expedia rep was shocked and confused. This felt like a total scam. Completely unprofessional, dishonest, and unacceptable. I will never stay at this location again and if you value your time, money, and sanity, I recommend you don’t either.
