Nice Location, Great Club Floor & Weak Service

Recently stayed one night at the Sheraton. Had a pleasant check in and got a great room with view and the Club Lounge is great. Downside was the lack of service and support. When I called the front desk for service around 10:00 none would answer the phone. After it rang 20 times I decided to call room service and after 20 rings I was hung up on.....I also didn’t understand how a large full service like the Sheraton did not have 24 hour room service. They shut down at 11:00.

    Disgusting, Rude, Dishonest

Your PBX operator that was working on 2/15 was extremely rude and unprofessional. Michael the front desk manager was self serving and rude to be very kind about it. The processes this property uses to qualify guests based on their rate is disgusting. I'd make sure they didnt charge your method of payment before arriving.

We have been staying at this hotel for years during the Heartland of America’s conference. The rooms have been renovated this year and are very nice. We had issues with hot water all weekend. I called twice and they were attentive. My husband got one hot shower and the rest of the time the water was warm at best. Other than that all was good..

We had a wonderful stay here! We brought our 2 year old son with us for the first time and everyone was super wonderful to us. Starting with the valley, bell hop and check in, everyone was very helpful and extremely professional. They went above and beyond to assist us. We had a great view of the city and our rooms were very clean with comfy beds. I love the layout of this hotel with the large lobby and mezzanine, lots of space to just hang out and chill. Stopped by the coffee shop and the gift shop for some extras and had great service there as well. Spectators was nice, good spot for beer and the food was yummy. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, not huge but just what you need. We took the Link walkway over to Crown Center which is the best perk of the Hotel, connected to everything so we did not have to walk outside. My only complaint would be the bathroom, the hotel pipes were very loud, you could hear the water from the rooms around and the sink valves need WD40 or something. Our toilet was extremely loud and needs the valve checked as it would get stuck and keep running until you jiggled it. But overall, this Hotel is a GEM! As first impressions go, absolutely wonderful! Thank you for making our first vacation with a toddler so memorable. We will be staying here again for sure. Suggestion for Hotel- reopen the revolving restaurant :-)

    Critique of Crown Center Sheraton

A very cozy stay in the heart of Kansas City. The walkway connectors across the street is an awesome way to travel on a cold wintery day. The atmosphere was perfect for a conference. Rooms are roomy and cozy as well. One of the highlights was ordering room service while watching a movie. The Spectators pub has excellent food, the caesar salad was outstanding, something about the dressing, and the burger was out of this world, paired with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon capped off the day perfectly. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Kansas City. The WWI museum is just a few blocks away. The parking could be better but is convenient. Staff is very friendly and everything is very clean.
