Room with a gorgeous view
For a fun filled getaway in the Ft Myers area, this place in Bonita Springs/ Estero is top-notch. Great for families with kids, as there are lots of kids' activities and a great adult getaway. We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the adult pool and Jacuzzi before attending a nearby wedding. The food at the pool ba was delightful, just a couple more dollars than a local restaurant, and a friendly staff. Saturday, while sitting by the pool, the restaurant had a guitar player singing out some of the great songs of the past. the Late night grocery store inside the hotel open till midnight, had a great friendly staff. We stopped in several times for coffees and teas and then again at night for a sweet treat. Ice cream was delightful and enough for two to share. This had to be my 6 o more time at this resort over the past 20 years but without kids this time. Really kept up with great updates and a beautiful resort!
Clean resort/rooms. Friendly and pleasant staff. Resort pool and grounds were wonderful. The lazy river was a highlight. The private island is open again, however weather prohibited us from going. Make your reservation for the ferry to it ASAP after check-in, as it fills up. Cool beans was a great grab and go for breakfasts, however the other two restaurants were $$$$ and had limited menus. If you enjoy seafood, try Tarpon Bay as the bacon grouper is excellent. Easy to Uber from RSW (25 min ride). We also used Naples Transport to get back to the airport and they had great service. Close to two malls - Coconut Point (and Target and Cheesecake Factory) and Miromar Outlets.
Tops in my book!
This resort is wonderful in so many aspects. It's very clean, modern, and provides great customer service. If you are traveling with children, there are so many things to do from water slides, games, activities, etc. Even though this stay was just with my wife, I feel that they cater to families and seem to do a wonderful job at it. I am a World of Hyatt Globalist and was upgraded to a two room suite and provided breakfast for myself and my wife. The restaurants can get quite busy, so wait times may be a bit long but kind of expected that with how large of a property this is. They do provide a free water taxi over to their private beach on Big Hickory Island. This is a wonderful thing to do to explore the beach area to swim or just pick up shells. Just a short ride over and back and was very relaxing. The boat leaves once an hour back and forth. The pools at the resort were warm and very clean and had servers for drinks/food. I travel quite a bit for work and I cannot say enough about this property. Well done Hyatt!
This hotel exceeded our expectations for service and amenities. It also has an amazing seafood restaurant. We enjoyed the environment and the attentive service. We will return it was a great value and experience
Resort was great, but…
Winter break trip. Resort is nice, staff very friendly. Weather was in the 70’s, pools are warm, slides & lazy river were fun. Would have liked to try the island but only open Th-Sunday. Had an issue that was brought to mngmt attn, didn’t like how it was handled. Food is pretty expensive but it’s close enough to get food elsewhere.
