Poor. Would not stay here even if the price were a lot lower.

    1. When checking in, we were told the parking is in the adjacent parking garage across the street. It turns out that parking there is more like a block away walking on a hot day with luggage. 2. In our room #943, the air conditioning worked but only brought the temperature down to around 78 degrees with lots of humidity. After going out to dinner and returning (about 4 hours later), the room temperature did not change. We called the front desk and explained the situation. They sent a maintenance person who fiddled with the thermostat, said it was an old model, maybe 30 years old and then said it's fixed. An hour later, no difference in the room temperature. We called the front desk and asked for a different room. We were told no other rooms were available, so we asked for at least a discount. Person said they would discuss it with the manager. 15 minutes later, the maintenance person showed up with a portable air conditioner and he was not in the happiest mood. After about an hour of patching it together so that it would exhaust our the window, he had it working, but it was a disgrace. Not his fault! He did the best he could do with a faulty system. The rest of the night we had to blast the TV to be able to hear over the portable air conditioner. It still took about 2 hours for the room to cool down to an acceptable temperature. 3. The curtains were ripped and had holes in them. See pictures. 4. Stains on the chair. See picture. 5. Upon checking out the next day, we were not asked about our stay. So, I left it at that. You would think they would track things like this and do a MUCH better job at pleasing their customers. I read all the time that hotels want you to report these things to make them better for the customer. In this instance, we were given a noisy bandage of an air conditioner to our dissatisfaction. NO, I would never stay here again. If you go there, do not accept room #943.

A night at the Bufalo Hyatt Regency Conference Cener

Bedding covers, matress, pillows are very comfortable. Room was comfortable chilly to make sleeping pleasant. Two chairs in the room was appreciated, but the comfy chair seemed dirt. The room light were dim and unable to be brightened. There was no clock in the room.

    Underwhelming

Underwhelming! Confusion at check-in, with the manager interrupting our receptionist. Were given an ADA room that we didn't request, so there was no vanity on which to put our toiletries. Shower was painfully powerful, and drain couldn't keep up with the water flow. Peeling wallpaper. Musty smell. Toothpaste spattered on the wall near sink. Fridge made a high pitched squeal that was annoying. Hotel dining room was closed due to lack of servers.

Staying here is like taking a time machine to the early 2000s

How is this a Hyatt, let alone a Hyatt Regency? The overall standard is at best Quality Inn-Best Western. The hotel is a late 1970s or early 1980s hotel that was last refreshed or otherwise renovated in 2009. That was 16 years ago. No suite upgrade or recognition for a Hyatt globalist, the top-tier in the Hyatt loyalty program. Room was awful. I left after 5 minutes and went to a Holiday Inn, which felt like a Ritz-Carlton or St. Regis compared to the Hyatt Regency. I later learned the Hyatt Regency is franchised and owned/operated by Aimbridge, which is just about the WORST management company for branded franchises. All things considered, DO NOT stay here until the hotel is gutted and renovated.

Makes me never want to go to a Hyatt again

I cannot understand why Hyatt attaches its name to this hotel. It is about three decades past its due date, and they have made no effort to renovate/paint/replace carpets, etc. In the fitness room one of the treadmills had a large slash through the middle of the belt - it just lay like that during our entire visit.
