    Rooms are outdated

Great location but rooms are old. Check- in was fast. Staff was friendly..The lady at the front desk told us that only one side of the hotel wasn’t renovated. Refrigerator wasn’t that cold, but the balcony was a plus. Our room was clean. I expected more from Hyatt especially since it was downtown. Don’t valet. Somebody ran right in the back of our car and the valet guy was standing there watching and didn’t tell them to stop. My husband went to tell the front desk, but they claim they didn’t have anything to do with valet services. That was disappointing!!

I enjoyed the hotel but went on a holiday and it was over crowded. Valet was rude and there was no parking on premises for the booking. Had t pay 65 for the 3 days we was there and wasn't informed about this before arrival

    Old hotel, needs updates

We stayed here 2 years ago for a conference and it was a decent hotel overall. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was small and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The rooms didn't have any soundproofing and the rooms were very loud, which was unfortunate. Overall though, the location is nice and the hotel is good for a conference, but I don't think I would stay here on a leisure trip.

    The DragonCon experience

I have stayed at this hotel every year for the con(miss not being able to go in 2020). Even sign up as a member(only time I use a hotel though). Most of my experiences have been positive. The price of course is getting higher every year(a few years ago, had to sign back in or was told I would lose the room, the price jumped up $20 more a night). Last year I didn't get the room or I should say the side of the building I have always gotten. I've always been in the International Tower on the Peachtree side with a balcony. Now with the parade, everyone wants that side. Was not happy about that. My view was of a nasty dirty roof(for the same money). I did complain(checking in on Wed don't understand why I couldn't have been moved to that side, those rooms were not full yet). I was offered a king. I needed the 2 beds. I also get a lower floor(use the stairs as much as I can at Dragon con, saves waiting for elevators, other people can use the elevators that really need to). The king was on a higher floor. Someone did try to help though. Overall the experiences over the years have always been good from start to finish. I get there on Wed, parking is no problem(like the hotel, the price keeps going up) I have a snack at the bar(before or after I get my room), I eaten the buffet but I have not done Polaris yet. I think about it every year. I always run out of time. I would recommend changing the chair into chair bed. I own one and I know Disney has them(brother is a DVC(Disney Vacation Club) member) especially for the con. I also miss the smaller tv that swiveled(I would turn it away from the bed so others could sleep and sit in the chair) and the aux jacks. Also bring back the foot hassock/ottoman and the smaller table. In a normal year, not 2020, I would be there right now. The date traveled would not give me Sept 2019(guess it's more than a year). Ratchet Hyatt Regency

If your looking for a bunch of traffic of people then this is the hotel for you. First off the hotel is not as secure as I would like it to be. There was a bunch of people hanging outside of the hotel and inside the lobby the I’m sure wasn’t staying here. When we pulled up after dinner there was people shooting a music video in front of the hotel in valet. There was a homeless person sleep on the property. They have security, but I don’t know why because they don’t do anything but walk around and say nothing to anybody . Anybody can walk in and out this hotel without being questioned if you are staying here or not. I’m more of a laid back person and I don’t like to see to much traffic when I am away and this was beyond what I can tolerate. All and All the bed was comfy so I’ll take the good with the bad. If you are looking for a relaxing welcoming and inviting atmosphere this is not the place for you.
