    Not a good stay

I could not recommend this hotel, beyond it being a good location. The elevators barely work and you have to wait forever to get on one. The room air conditioner did not work and kept the room at a humid 76 degrees no matter how we set it. The toilet clogged and when housekeeping unclogged it, they splashed dirty toilet water everywhere and did not clean it up. Totally unacceptable. Would not come back.

    Worked really well for us

No place is perfect. We took the metro in (and it was a simple walk from L’infant to here) to avoid parking fees but noticed there is an independent parking lot a block down (don’t know how fees compare). Open air bar on top floor nice (gratuity added on bill). We had lunch down the street at The Atrium —. Excellent and fresh. Dinner across town at Immigrant Food—I had the Heritage Bowl—again fantastic (they have multiple locations). Enjoyed the gym downstairs. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee very good. Great walking distance to museums.

    Perfect for families

Great location felt safe. Staff recommended atrium cafe on the block beside hotel for lunch and it was a great recommendation we grabbed lunch and took it back to hotel to eat on the outdoor balcony. The rooftop bar had a great vibe! They also serve food in the evenings.

    location good, breakfast too crowded

The hotel is a little hard to navigate inside if you go during busy season. Main lobby is on floor 3 but elevator took forever each morning. Floor 1 is street/valet. If you wanted to grab the free water they had in dispensers on floor 3, which I usually did, you had to wait for elevator then get off on 3 knowing you’d be waiting in line to get back down to 1. Started taking stairs. One evening I stopped to grab some water and they had no cups. I asked the lady and she was super annoyed. Didn’t say anything and handed me a sleeve of cups. Okay I’ll set these up for you while you are clearly standing behind counter on your phone. We were there from a Wednesday night and left on a Saturday morning. Each morning the breakfast was insanely crowded. No where to sit. But busboys were quick to clean tables once someone got up. One morning had to sit in computer chairs. A sign said there was an overflow room but when you asked where it was staff looked confused. There was a taller lady re-filling breakfast items. She was rude every morning. Yelling about how the line was forming, etc. Our floor (7) was being refreshed with new wallpaper but other than that the hotel seemed clean. Pool was not open yet but area looked decent. The rooftop bar area was nice. Didn’t order anything just went up to look. Valet men were super nice and extremely fast!! They text you a link and you hit retrieve car. Super easy. The walk to museums and wharf from hotel was about 15 minutes. Surrounding area by hotel was fine. McDonald’s about 5 minutes down and bible museum also close. Wish the hotel would be more up to date with technology. To check in you had to swipe credit card you booked with. Usually it’s an automatic charge at end. Checking out you had to make a stop to return room cards. Most hotels now you can check out on app. Maybe you can with Hyatt’s but when we checked in they said we had to return cards for final checkout. Our car was outside that valet pulled up and reception lady taking forever checking people out letting a kid pick a prize out of a bucket. After kid left she was in no hurry to get to guests. Shuffled some papers around for a while then helped us. She was only one working and the place was packed so they should’ve had another person. I asked for a bottle water, they were on counter and she said $4 (warm water). I like Hampton’s better I’ll stick with them
