Centrally located to the Mall excellent service and staff. We will be booking here again on our next DC trip. Service was top notch, and very helpful. The rooftop bar is unique and provides a great view of the city. Our room was nice and everything was up to standard.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Easter weekend. Family trip with 3 kids and spouse. Room was on 11th floor so minimal noise and clean. Room was a little late being ready (15 mins) but not a big deal. The free breakfast was fine but it was literally the same thing every day. Also got crazy crowded and they throw everyone into 1 line so it moves slow and not really enough seating for size of hotel. There is sign in elevators literally warning you of when the worst time for breakfast is (the last hr during week and last 1.5 hrs on weekends). Otherwise location was great (tons of restaurants at wharf and 15 mins walk to national mall. Metro stop 5-10 mins away that takes you anywhere. We parked car with valet and walked or metro everywhere. Employees are all nice and friendly. Would stay here again

What a great hotel!
Hotel was wonderful! Front desk staff was always ready with an extra key or restaurant recommendations when we stopped by. The room was clean when we arrived and the housekeeping staff kept our room that way (not easy traveling with two teenagers). The location was excellent for our vacation. It is within walking distance to the national mall and the wharf and everything we wanted to see on our trip! I would 100% recommend this Hyatt Place for anyone traveling to DC to learn about our capital!

Good stay in a nice hotel
We only stayed for 2 nights in April. The hotel is nice and clean. The breakfast has a lot of food variety. Staff is friendly. Room is spacious. Beds are comfortable. It's a little pricy, I guess it's because of the cherry blossom time, but overall a good experience.

Great location, could use a few little updates
Stayed here because my brother booked his room in this hotel. Proximity to the Mall and to transportation systems was fantastic!!! Room was fine, temperature easy to maintain, blackout curtains helpful, breakfast was pretty good. Great coffee!!! Would’ve loved a Greek yogurt option for breakfast…and a little more variety. Room could’ve used an overhead light, as it was pretty dark on cloudy days or in the evening, and I would’ve liked to see more outlets and some places for USB plug-ins. Seems it could use a little update in that way. Would’ve liked to see a nightlight or some option to turn on a very minimal light source for nighttime trips for my parents to the bathroom. Generally not as extraordinary as I expected with the price, but I think that had more to do with proximity to museums, attractions, etc than the hotel itself. Workout room looked amazing but I never used it. LOVED the option of holding my luggage after checkout so I could sightsee comfortably before my evening flight home!!!!!
