    Family Vacation

Great location, short walk to the Metro and other area attractions. Free hot breakfast was a big draw for our family. Rooftop bar was nice to go up to and have a drink after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely recommend this Hyatt location to anyone traveling to DC

Meh. Maybe we will be back....

The AC was either freezing or sweltering. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating once you got their attention from eating or chatting, except for one rude woman who was not friendly at all. Beds, pillows & water pressure was amazing. Not a good experience for close to $275 for one night.

    Great location

This hotel is great. It is within walking distance of the mall, the capital, museums, and monuments. Oh, and close to a metro station. The staff were great and the hotel was clean and modern. The only drawback is the cost of parking but you will have that anywhere in DC.

    Not a good stay

I could not recommend this hotel, beyond it being a good location. The elevators barely work and you have to wait forever to get on one. The room air conditioner did not work and kept the room at a humid 76 degrees no matter how we set it. The toilet clogged and when housekeeping unclogged it, they splashed dirty toilet water everywhere and did not clean it up. Totally unacceptable. Would not come back.

    Worked really well for us

No place is perfect. We took the metro in (and it was a simple walk from L’infant to here) to avoid parking fees but noticed there is an independent parking lot a block down (don’t know how fees compare). Open air bar on top floor nice (gratuity added on bill). We had lunch down the street at The Atrium —. Excellent and fresh. Dinner across town at Immigrant Food—I had the Heritage Bowl—again fantastic (they have multiple locations). Enjoyed the gym downstairs. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee very good. Great walking distance to museums.
