Worth a stay here!
Great location, near the zoo and aquarium - slightly quieter area of Waikiki. Very friendly and helpful staff - well worth staying here. Good access to nice food vans in the adjacent laneway (Thai, mexican, American) plus Dominos pizza co-located with hotel.

Great Hotel & Location
Great location, a walk away from the beach. Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was great: clean, modern, and big. Breakfast selection was very good. I would definitely stay here again. Valet was amazing worth every penny. My siblings enjoyed it and so did I, especially with this being our first time on the island.

Overall experience was great
Overall experience was great, family friendly hotel. Breakfast was good, kids friendly. The room was pretty clean. Very close to the Waikiki beach. Beach towels, beach chairs, and sand toys are available for rent. I would stay at this hotel again for my next visit.

Would recommend
This was our first trip to Waikiki Beach and I was a bit worried about staying so far to the east. The location allowed for quick access for driving in/out of the hotel though. The beach access was perfectly fine and not a concern. The value was great....comparative to other Hawaiian hotels. Just understand that all of them are riddled with junk fees that add up super fast (resort fees, parking fees, and taxes seemingly on other taxes). Parking is valet only at $55 a day, or there is a garage across the road at the same price. The valets were all great and speedy. The hotels resort fees included lei making class, hula dancing class and beach rentals. So there was a value there, if you choose to use those services. The room was what I'd expect in the price range, and cozy enough. The diamondhead view room was great. Even though the crater peak was obscured, the zoo and elementary school provided a lot of green space which was nice to look at. The thing that held this back from 5 stars are two cons. The free breakfast was appreciated but the offerings were limited. For example, expect eggs, sausage, waffles, pineapple, oats and cereal. The breakfast staff did a great job in clearing tables and dishes, which is important because it gets busy. Seating is outdoors and was about 50/50 without umbrella and in direct morning sun. Water drainage from rain was lacking despite serious efforts from the staff. Oddly, the breakfast area is on the pool deck and requires you to cut through the full length of the gym to get to. It was very awkward. One complaint literally every guest we talked to had was...the elevators. The west tower is serviced by two elevators and the wait would be terribly long at times. We're talking 15-20 mins, and you can guarantee that someone was commenting about it during those times. All in all, it was a great stay and I'd recommend the hotel.

Good time at Hyatt
Great stay in Waikiki in the spring. Good price and good breakfast 🥞. Close to the beach, clean, friendly staff, close to the restaurants and shopping area. Also close to the park and running trails. The lobby is very well suited to spend time eating, resting and have an extra meal at anytime.
