High School Graduation trip- June 2025
It is a nice, basic hotel. Rooms are clean and neat, beds are okay but not plush, and breakfast was to be expected. Pool was closed, and outdoor breakfast patio was crowded and had lots of birds. The hotel will give you beach chairs (first come, first served) and beach towels. We would stay again, as the location is really nice.

Overall Good
Definitely five stars for Location, Decently Priced, not too luxurious, Very basic in house restaurant, actually it’s part of lounge area, but lot of options close by, from food trucks to fine dine restaurants. Great customer service, very helpful staff.

Excellent stay. Friendly staff and service.
Excellent and great customer service. Friendly staff and great environment. The staff went out of their way to help my 88 year old mother. Clean and great place to stay! They were also good to my son who has autism. The staff showed empathy and was caring!

Good value, friendly helpful staff.
We only stayed one night as we are from another island and mainly came for a business need. We used Chase points transferred to World of Hyatt for our stay which is beneficial as there are no taxes at all and no resort/destination fees of any kind. The room was clean and good size. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool area is closed for renovations and the pool looks rather small. We were given the option to use the pool at the Queen Kapiolani hotel a block away. Overall a pretty good value and we would likely stay again.

Awesome staff, mediocre stay.
The Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach was a perfectly serviceable hotel. The staff were all excellent. The hotel's pool was closed, the lobby/bar was uncomfortably warm, and our room's minisplit/air conditioner did not cool the suite to a comfortable level. The location of the Hyatt Place was good, as the beach was just down the street. Overall, based upon our 5 day stay, I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach.
