Bugs and stains
Upon entering the room, it looks very nice. However looks can be deceiving. I had a bug crawling on my ceiling and then on my bed, what looked like semen stains on the bedspread. I called front desk about the bug and the man that answered wasn’t sure what he could do because he is scared of bugs so, he put us in another room and let us leave our belongings in the original room since it was around 11pm. I booked this room through Expedia and they did try to get my money back but Hyatt refused since I was moved to another room (which had smears on the mirror and mold in the shower). Hyatt tried to tell me that they are just stink bugs and they just come inside, like it was no big deal. No one should pay $92 for a hotel room and have to share it with bugs and semen stains. Run far far away from this hotel.
Good category 1 hotel in the Hyatt rewards program
Overall clean and comfortable. Expected breakfast options. Hot foods like pancake, and sausage links tasted great. Wish they didn't charge for parking. It's close to a strip mall, so there is no reason to charge for parking.
Perfect for airport flights
Very accommodating with early/late check-in and free parking. Shuttle runs really whenever flights come in and out. Nice room and better than average free breakfast. Majority of the staff are superior, and others above average. Fridge is in rooms, but no microwave. Clean comfortable space with pullout sofa for extra people.
Nice hotel, infuriating shuttle
We booked this hotel to fly out of PIT with a park and fly package. The hotel is perfectly fine— the rooms are nice, staff was fine. Before our returning flight left, I called to confirm shuttle details. I was assured that we would call when we arrived and it would be 10-15 minutes to be picked up. We followed those instructions upon landing and the shuttle arrived within 10-15 minutes but there wasn’t enough room for us. The shuttle driver (who was absolutely wonderful and professional) assured us he would be back for us in 30 minutes. He returned and the van was once again mobbed with people and we almost didn’t get on again! It left several others behind. It was 90 minutes from the time we landed until we got to our car. I just wish I would have known this before I booked. They aren’t equipped to handle airport pickups. It’s a small van shared with a few other hotels. Just park at the airport— it’ll save you a headache.
My recommendation was implemented. They continue to add even minor improvements to help make time away from home a little more bearable. I find they listen to the surveys and try to change what they can.
