The room was ok it didn’t have a microwave just a refrigerator. That put a damper on meals. There are places to eat close by such as Outback Steak house. The amenities close by help. They do have a shuttle and breakfast.
Visiting during covid- breakfast and pool
We stayed for 3 nights to visit family during covid. Overall we enjoyed our stay. 2 double beds plus sofa sleeper worked for 3 adults and two young kids. Breakfast was grab and go and included cereals, muffin assortment, hard boiled egg, greek yogurt with granola, string cheese, fruit, coffee and orange juice. Not the same experience as a buffet but they made it work. Also pool is on reservation system but we went twice with no issues and we got lucky and had whole pool to ourselves. Shuttle to and from airport was easy 15 minutes. Would recommend this Hyatt place as good value
The staff was great with accommodating us with an early check in. The room was perfect for me and me 2 boys offering a king bed and pull out couch. Plenty of room for all. I do wish we had a microwave and a better dining area but there was a desk that was a good size. The fridge and sink were a bonus to have.
Not Hyatt Quality
This hotel was not up to Hyatt standards. Our room was pretty dirty. The sink didn’t drain. There was no bedding for the sofa bed. The air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The sofa had stains all over it and the desk lamp bulb was burned out. The elevators barely worked - An electrical panel in one of the elevators was missing the door, exposing wiring. We’d stayed here a few times in the past and it was always great. That was not the case this time. I don’t know what happened.
Not your Typical Hyatt Place (not in a good way)!
We arrived near midnight on March 18, 2020. I travel a lot and frequently stay at a Hyatt Place. This one was different. The woman at check in was not friendly. There were no warm peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies. In fact, there did not appear to be a menu at all -- she referred me to The Market -- a less than compelling place to grab something to eat. When we got to our rooms, they were less appealable than most rooms at other Hyatt Place hotels where I have stayed. The shower had mold and the bathroom door had glue -- which may have formlery held a mirror. We left early the next morning so we were unable to got to the Breakfast Bar. The hotel did, however, offer breakfast to go -- we were just in too much of a hurry to get to the airport to take it up on the offer.
